our embassy interview date is 5/24. Should we be concerned?

Is anyone seeing this error when trying to upload your photo through the ustraveldocs DS-160 online application process?

503 (indicates that the server is not ready to handle the request. Common causes are a server that is down for maintenance or that is overloaded)

My case has been sent from NVC to Warsaw - around start of March 2023. Has anyone else had this in recent weeks and is till waiting on the initial email from the embassy with instructions on next steps?

The docs elsewhere on this site says:

*This will be sent out within a week (typically less) from when the embassy processes the received petition. This package will include a checklist of items and paperwork that must be collected.

do we know what is in the package or does it depend on the embassy? If we know, what is it? Our embassy will be Warsaw.

hello all,

i was just seeking some advice or experience from others who have been in this situation. my fianc and i are gay and they currently live in a country that is homophobic. i have a trip in march scheduled to visit for two weeks. i can just say i m visiting a friend when going through customs and staying at their place. however, we are planning for me to stay there for 3 months end of this year, trying to wait out some of this long waiting approval process since their country is apart of the esta program, but i m nervous about them denying such a long visit since it s not usual to visit a friend for so long.

im hoping that there is someone out there who can share some experience or advice about traveling to visit your fianc while they live in a homophobic country.
