US Immigration from Pakistan

Hi guys,

I got DQed a few days ago. I'm wondering about original documents for the interview and what you can actually have print outs of. I have a joint sponsor and household member (my parents). I live outside of the US with my husband (the applicant).

1) Do I need the actual passports and marriage license (proof of US citizenship & their relationship to each other) of my parents? What about their original tax returns?

2) Can I print out my tax transcripts or does it need to be the original tax return?

3) The police clearances the petitioner obtained are digital. Is that fine to print out?

4) How do you find out how long it's taking your embassy (Abu Dhabi) to schedule interviews?

My visa is IR1 visa

I'm the applicant

My visa issued already in September 2022

After pick up my passport with visa 10 days later the embassy called me to send us passport back, embassy told me (there's a technical issue in your visa so you can't travel), so i sended my passport back to the embassy, my visa validity was 4 months, in 4 months my ceac status was shown still issued, after expired my visa the case status was shown refused and they requested my ds260 for update, it's shown (reopened), then i updated my ds260 so after update my DS 260 they open my case 4 time a month, then suddenly i saw the status was shown ("returned to nvc"), then after 10 days they give my passport back and put stamp on my visa ("cancelled without prejudice "),

I really don't know what's going on , case was returned to nvc 03 march 2023, i didn't got any letter from them and i don't know what's going on,

Any expert person guide me please,

There's some mistake in my case i can share with u guys,

(I-130 petition my wife used my last name with her name, ) but it's approved in USCIS,

( In DS 260 she used only her full name ) is this is effect in my case? If it's effect why they issued visa,

When i got my interview letter then i went for medical but my wife name was showing in medical center in my case number, who make this mistake? There was my medical but the medical was showing on my wife name, is this a big mistake?

Finally embassy put 2 mark on her name in her passport name , marriage certificate, blue and yellow,

I am in need of help from those who recently went through the CRBA process at the Islamabad embassy. I am in the process of gathering documents regarding providing evidence of 5 years of residency and would like to know what documents you guys used to prove it. I only have 4 years of tax transcripts from the IRS website. And also does a wage statement from the IRS website can be used in place of an actual W-2 since I only have actual W-2 for the years 2019,2020 and 2021.

Hey all. I need some advice on a situation i am stuck in.

I finished my grad school in summer 2022 and started working for a tech company in August 2022 on OPT. My H1B had gotten approved while i was still in school which is the reason i opted for 'consular notification' instead of 'Change of status' to make the switch to H1B since i needed to maintain my F1 to finish grad school.

I travelled back home in December 2022 to get the H1B stamped. Sent my documents to the consulate in mid-december because i qualified for the interview waiver. After a month they sent my documents back and asked me to come to the embassy in-person. My interview was in mid-February. Unfortunately i got put in administrative processing and have been on the same for 4+ months now. So far i was working remotely, but now have been forced on a leave of absence due to tax related issues because i can't work from abroad for more than 6 months according to some tax law.

I was thinking of coming back on my F1 which is still valid till January 2024 and extending my OPT (current one expires in mid-August). Do you guys think i can/should do that? Is there a chance i might be denied entry and forced to return from the airport? Can doing this have an adverse effect on my H1B in processing?

My main motivation for coming back is so that one i can of course start earning again since i still have to pay rent on my apartment and all that. Plus i do not want to lose the opportunity of extending my OPT for another 2 years just in case this processing takes a really long time OR worst case my visa gets refused. I even asked the congress person from my area to file a congressional inquiry on my behalf. Even they got sent the same info that my case is in AP and i will get an email once its done. Being in this transient phase has gotten really frustrating now and i am now in a state where even logistical things are starting to become a problem such as should i renew my lease or not.

Any advice would be really appreciate. Cheers!
