  1. I have applied for AoS (I485) concurrently with EAD and AP (IR1), processed at Lee's Summit, MO. I received I-765 Standalone Approval notice for EAD in mail and is available under "Documents" in MyUSCIS online account as well. But there is no further update since then. The case status still says "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS". Online agent via chat said, your card was sent for production on Jun-22, and provided no further info. How long is the wait time for arrival of EAD and the social security card? Thanks, Farooq
  2. Thank you! Do I need to provide more information in the additional information section about being DQ with consular processing? Also the form does not allow me to enter "B1" as the status on I-94 form with the error, "enter only letters and space". So I can only enter "B" when working on my computer. Can I write it with a pen on a printed form when signing? Or "B one" would be ok? Thanks,
  3. Thanks for your response. Yes, I am aware of the caveats with AOS and this is why we never thought of this before today (I have been travelling back and forth during the consular processing on a visit visa). Things have recently changed for us, and we are thinking about AOS.
  4. I am in the US with my application DQ at NVC (waiting for the interview to be scheduled) back at home. How to answer this question on the form i-485: "Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a US Embassy or US consulate abroad?" So should I say Yes and then say "Pending" about the decision? Or simply answer "No" ?
