US Immigration from Pakistan

I want to help my sister to apply for a student visa in US I m a US citizen

she s 20 years old and becoming a physiotherapist

I don t know much about the student visa and the process

I had immigration interview at US Embassy Islamabad with my father and mother in law . My wife is a US citizen.

All of us got a 221 g with two boxes ticked

1) administrative processing (you will be notified if further action is needed)

2) passport(submit via courier)

Embassy demanded no documents.

Is it good sign that they ticked the second option also?

I have filled for my father in February of 2023 and now I m filling forms for my mother

I was comparing the i864 A form and I think I made a mistake I m using a household member (my husband)

on part 5 where it says

I, the sponsor, I wrote my husband s name and I think I should have wrote my own name

and in part 6 where it says

I, The household member . I wrote my husbands name which is I think right

help me what should I do did I messed it up?

Hey guys, l'm an IR2 visa applicant. I had my interview on 16th February 2024 and the officer congratulated me but he said he would need my UK Police Certificate (as i have been residing in the UK for 2 years) He kept my passport. I did not have my police certificate at the time of the interview but I sent it on 19th March 2024 as soon as I got it. The case updated two times after I sent it via courier (28th March) (4th April). Any idea how much more I will have to wait?

My parents have an immigration visa interview scheduled at the US Embassy in Islamabad on April 16th, 2024. They completed their medical examinations on the 8th of this month. However, my father s medical results are pending due to a spot found during his chest X-ray, which has led to further sputum testing. The medical facility has scheduled his three-day sputum test from April 15th to 17th, which overlaps with the visa interview date and time. When we informed the medical facility about the overlap, they told us over the phone that this date was provided after consultation with the embassy. However, we have not received any communication from the embassy regarding the cancellation or rescheduling of the visa interview appointment. Therefore, I am unsure if my father should attend the visa interview or the medical test. Additionally, since my father is the principal applicant, I am wondering if my mother, who has cleared her medical test, should appear for the visa interview.
