I heard through different forums that there are less number of DQ people in 2021 as compare to 2020 in CR 1 IR1 that is the reason why india and philippines have reduce their backlog in IR1 CR1 categories ... please discuss its true or not...

Hi All, I'm hoping someone can help clarify my queries. This forum has always been so helpful/informative. My case is a bit unique. I'm the US citizen/petitioner and have filed for my husband and two minor children. I lived out of the US for 25+ years (moved away when I was young) and have recently returned to the US as of Feb 2022 to reside here and pursue my employment. My husband and two children are still abroad and will join me once their immigration process is complete. All of my 3 petitions have been approved (wef Feb 24, 2022) and I'm now at the NVC stage. My questions are around income/joint sponsorship as well as tax returns 1. I just started employment in the United States in Feb 2022 - this is my first job in the US. I earn enough to meet the sponsorship criteria for my family, however, I don't have any previous W2s or tax returns since I didn't work/live in the US for the last 25+ years. Can I still use my income to sponsor my family or due to my lack of lack of W2s, tax returns etc. I'll need a joint sponsor? 2. I understand I need to file taxes as a US citizen abroad even if I don't earn enough to owe anything - honestly I didn't do this regularly while living abroad. My understanding is also that l need to include previous 3 years of tax returns/transcripts in my documentary evidence to the NVC. What is the quickest way I can do this i.e. ow can I backfile for the past 5 years showing $0 owed and get the transcripts? I read somewhere to take the filled tax returns forms physically to the closest IRS office near me and file them this way. Has anyone had any experience backfiling taxes? I'd appreciate ANY insight anyone has on these queries - thank you!

Hi All, Hi All, I want to have your opinion on my wife s immigration process (CR-1 Visa). I filed I-130 application for my current wife with whom I have a child too, who born in Pakistan, when I went to US embassy in Islamabad to report his child birth. Emabassy told me that your child has to be registered as out of wed lock, because my divorce with my first wife was not finalized at the time when got married to my current wife( In Pakistan you have to wait for 90 days after divorce to get it finalized). I married within that 90 days time period without having the knowledge of 90 days rule and came to know when I visited US embassy for my child birth report. After that, I withdraw I-130 petition of my current wife, and married again with her in Nov 2020(At that time I can be able to legally married to anyone). I filed a fresh I-130 petition with new marriage date, Nikkah Nama, Nadra Certificate which got accepted and approved. NVC also dqed me with these documents. Now, I m waiting for my wife s Interview letter. My question is: At the time of interview, how we should be prepared in case they ask questions related to getting remarrying again to my current wife? Is that will cause us a problem to get trapped in Adminstrarive process? Any suggestions/ advice to help us get ready for interview in this scenario will be highly appreciated!! Thank you,

Hi! I recently got my IR1 visa issued at the US embassy. I m traveling soon to the US to be back with my husband. I overstayed my F1 visa previously by less than 180 days and I was wondering if that would impact my reentry into the US? (At customs/border patrol)

I filed an I824 but it was sent back to me claiming I didn't sign it when I did. I hired a lawyer to finish the rest of my case since I already made so many mistakes and am now paying for it by being separated from my husband longer. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything from my lawyer. So I was wondering if anyone knew how to file an I824 in case I need to file it myself if I have hired a dud laywer. All I need is my approved I130 transferred to NVC and I don't understand why this is so hard or what I'm not understanding for filling out this small form and am currently in tears
