Hi everyone, I really need help here. Visa journey guided me all through my journey getting to the united states and I am here again for guidance. My fiances is in nigeria and I want to get married to him and bring him here. With the recent immigration ban etc , it is really frustrating my efforts. I don't know what else to do and it's really affecting our relationship. Can anyone advice me please. Is Nigerian embassy open? I was considering visiting nigeria every now and then and maybe he does the same till the ban is lifted. PLEASE HELP

I have a question for a associate. She has a page but she does not know how to post yet.

Her income is not high enough to sponsor her husband. Her mother who is a widower and retiree, is going to be her joint sponsor.

She was DQ, on the other day. But, NVC, stated that her income as well as her joint sponsor was not high enough. Her joint sponsor income is $29,000 a year. She receives widower benefits and her retirement; it comes to $29,000. NVC, said the embassy may not go for it. She added all of her mom's paperwork for her income. Could there be something that she may be missing? Everything was approved really fast (DQ). Her mom has no one in her household. And there is no way she can get another sponsor.

Any advice would be appreciated. She messaged me, on social media and asked me how to post on visajourney. Thanks in advance

So-- A new fee was supposed to go into effect today which is currently stalled.

My husband is due to file 1-751 in a few weeks. We have been waiting thinking a new form is coming out but am not sure anymore
I honestly don't want to fill out an application and then bam- a new one comes out like the day before because we take so much time to make sure those forms are correct.

Anyone have any other knowledge on this issue? Is a new form coming? Or should I just complete the current one and kind of sit and watch till we submit at month end
