Hello.
Please I need your help answering my questions. I will be grateful with any help you can provide.
Adjusting from B1 visa. Back story, My US citizen husband and I got married in May, 2019. He filed I-130 on my behalf in November, 2019 ( the mistake we made was that we didn t file I-485 concurrently). I received an order from ICE in January, 2020 because I was out of status. We realized our mistake and decided to file AOS in July, 2020. First week of November, I received a notice from USCIS stating that my AOS case was administratively closed because I am in removal proceedings. At the same time, my EAD was approved a day before the administrative closure. Now I am worried that I won't receive my EAD card. My initial master hearing is scheduled for July 2021. I have some questions:
1. Will I receive my EAD card, since it was approved a day before my AOS was closed? I am Still waiting for biometrics appointment.
2. Does anyone know an affordable lawyer who could help me put together the required documents for filling with the Immigration court? At this time, I am not looking for a lawyer who would represent me in court because there is a high probability that I will be moving before my next court date.
Thank you.

Important Updates to the Naturalization Test:

USCIS has revised the civics portion of the naturalization test. All applicants for naturalization with a filing date on or after Dec. 1, 2020, will be required to take the 2020 version of the civics test. For more information, visit The 2020 Version of the Civics Test page. Applicants for naturalization with a filing date before Dec. 1, 2020, are required to take the 2008 version of the civics test.

2008 Version

The 2008 version of the civics test is an oral test, and the USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 civics test questions. You must answer 6 questions correctly to pass the 2008 version of the civics test.

Applicants for naturalization with a filing date (also known as a receipt date) before Dec. 1, 2020, will take the 2008 version of the civics test. You may find study materials for the 2008 version of the civics test on this page.

2020 Version

The 2020 version of the civics test is an oral test, and the USCIS officer will ask you 20 questions from the list of 128 civics test questions. You must answer at least 12 of the 20 questions correctly to pass the 2020 version of the civics test.

Applicants for naturalization with a filing date (also known as a receipt date) on or after Dec. 1, 2020 are required to take the 2020 version of the civics test. Find more information about the 2020 civics test and study materials to help you prepare.

65/20 Special Consideration

If you are 65 years old or older and have been living in the United States as a lawful permanent resident of the United States for 20 or more years, you may study just the 20 questions that have been marked with an asterisk (*) found at the end of each question. You may also take the naturalization test in the language of your choice. For more information, see exceptions and accommodations or the USCIS Policy Manual Citizenship and Naturalization Guidance.

Note: On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or appointments. You must answer the question with the name of the official serving at the time of your naturalization interview. For the answers to these specific questions, please visit the Civics Test Updates page.

Hello everyone. My status since June,2020 has been "scheduled for interview" until today 11/12/2020 as an email, stating my case status is now " Testing and Interview".

I got the email with a mixed feeling, I was happy I got progress about my application, sad that I have scheduled flight to check on my sick dad.

I am now curious what the interview questions would be like, any hint?

Ridiculous K1 Processing Times (Trump?)

Does anyone else get the feeling that Trump secretly stopped all immigration until the election was over? These processing times and quite frankly the embassies blatant disregard for people s time just doesn t add up to me. People are working at these embassies but are literally doing nothing. I don t know...just seems like something he would do. Maybe I m reaching, but we all know how he feels about immigration.
