US Immigration from Nigeria

Hello, my husband has just been issued an interview in lagos in January 2021. With the ban President Trump put in Nigeria we are both skeptical. We want to take the interview but we are not sure if we will be considered for a waiver. We don't have any children, I am not in the military, and I do not have any medical issues. Can someone please advise me? Are they only issuing visas with those with a waiver? And if so how do we go about getting a waiver? Or should we just reschedule the interview?

Hi everyone, my husband filled N600 in June 2019, he was sent RFE in July 2020 which he responded and his online case status changed to response to USCIS request for evidence was received in August then nothing. We decided to write our senator we got a response today from the senator s office that USCIS replied with

case is under extended review with an officer

please has anyone ever experience this and what does this mean for his case. Thank you.

Good day house, I have my interview today and all went well, I was given a white pamphlet for my right in US and also was given another form to submit my Waec certificate and my wife recent tax transcripts... Now my first question is

1. Does the white pamphlet means visa is issued

2 the CO told me to submit my international passport along with my wife tax return and waec certificate but he never tick it on the form for me to submit my international passport. He only tick the other two documents but he said I should submit my international passport along with it.

3 with different stories have heard on visajoutney DHL won't collect my international passport if it's not ticked on the form.how are they going to issue my visa if DHL won't collect my passport. Thanks in advance as you reply

Just yesterday being 16th December 2020, I went for my CR1 Visa interview and finally got my CR1 visa approved yesterday in Nigeria, Lagos Consulate... I'm so happy, it's been since April 2019 last year I started this journey. And now I'm already at the finish line, for many of you out there still waiting on your case, I wish you all Success! ..

First off, thanks for the good work you all are doing here, providing answers and updating us on your journeys. We are about filing forms (130, 131, 944, 765, 485, 864) and have a few questions and would appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

1. I came in with my B2 visitor visa which expires Feb 2021 and I'm about to file for AOS. There is a part that says those applying for AOS under 215(1) INA must also file I-485 Supplement A form but on the Supplement A instruction and the form itself, the conditions for those who may file Supplement A do not apply to me.

2. In filing for AP, I really dont have a travel date in mind but I want to know that if I have an emergency to travel, that I can and also to avoid having to pay a fee for this in future. What are some of the acceptable reasons one can use seeing as there are only 3 grounds for granting this application (humanitarian, educational, employment) and does anyone have a sample of evidence supporting the circumstances arranging the issuance of AP?

3. Lastly, in filing Form I-944, since I do not have a credit report nor SSN over here and we dont have those in my home country, am I expected to submit my husband's? Together with the evidence of his IRS transcripts, assets and his liabilities?
