Visa type C21

Hi!!

I just checked on my NVC account and realized my visa type is C21, I thought Iwas under F2a category (spouse of LPR). But turns out that because we have been married less that two years I got the C21 classification.

Now checking https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html for the monthly visa isuance, I never see that category mentioned there.

I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a conditional green card sponsored by other LPR?

If your case on NVC showed that category, how was it stamped on the visa?

Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am in the process of getting hired by a company in the States but I haven't got my EAD yet or haven't even got my biometrics taken. I already have my NOA, but still waiting for my BIO appointment letter.

Does anyone knows if there is a way to expedite this? I called USCIS but they said that it has to be a job in the medical fields, I need to have a medical reason or be in the military.

I do not want to lose this opportunity as it is an extremely good job, I'd appreciate in advance everybody's comment on this.

income Tax return for Affidavit

Hi!

My wife just entered to USA as LPR back in January 2020, she got a job on August and her income of those 6 months is above poverty line. While trying to fill up the I-864 AOS (P6 - question 23a), is asking for the last three years tax return forms.

My question is, how should we fill that up, if she has only filled tax return for 2020?

Any advice?

Do you think we will be requested a joint sponsor?Capture.JPG.9e26b62024907d46f788d7e73ad6698e.JPG

Hello,

On the I-864 Part 6 Sponsor's income # 7 My individual annual income In my case it is all Social Security income

#10 Intending Immigrant income In her case it is all Social Security income.

Part 6 #24A asks for most recent tax year adjusted gross income on 1040 which is actually a negative amount.

(also shown on IRS tax transcript as a negative)

is this a problem?

K1 AOS- Interview experience April 2021

Hello Visa Journey members.

Yesterday my husband and I attended to my first AOS interview in Oklahoma City office.

we showed up with many updated documents, pictures, etc... a big binder!

The IO was very polite and nice, We were led to her office in the back and then she asked us to remain standing to swear that all the information we were giving was true.

After that, the interviewing officer went through the application and asked me to verify my name, date of birth, place of birth, my parent's names, and finally my current address. He asked my husband about his work, and how we met and if we were planning on having kids.

My immigration case was not easy, I was deported form the US. when I met my husband I was on a Turist visa but working without authorization, long story short I ENDED UP deported when trying to re enter the country ABOUT 5 yrs ago, when they discovered I was working without authorization. SO well because of that I had to be waived before I even got a K1 visa, which I did, it was cumbersome process but my waivers were approved. well..... the IO showed a lot of interest on this and she asked many things about it, (when I worked wthout authorization in the US, I did it with a fake green card) and somehow I felt she was trying to make me admit I was claiming to be a citizen back then, which I didnt.... I worked with a fake green card with a made up name...not that I am proud of any of this! but I didnt work with a citizens card or tried to claim I was one. so this really made me feel nervous, because all this was waived a couple of years ago I didnt think this would be the MAIN subject in the interview.

She went trought the rest of the application quickly and didnt request any other evidende, she finally said that everything LOOKED GOOD but she will still have to check some stuff on her side. and that we will get an answer trhough mail.

this left me with a bittersweet feeling, she said everything looks fine but DIDNT APROVE US RIGHT THERE, (I have read other experiences where right there they got approved) my case status still reads "AN INTERVIEW APPOINTMET HAS BEEN SCHEDULED" NOTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE YESTERDAY. I am worried this means something went wrong somehow. has someone has a similiar experience where they were not approved right there? if so how long does it take for the status to update?

thank you everyone....any comments or opionios will be valued.
