US Immigration from Mexico

Hello,

I had my citizenship interview on June 20th 2021 a year after applying for N-400 under the 5 year permanent residence rule.

I passed the test everything good, the officer told me I passed but I could not be granted citizenship because I was already one.

My dad had become US citizen before I turned 18. She then requested me to submit evidence of my dad's birth certificate.

What is going to happen? Will I just be denied the N-400?

If I'm already a citizen why ask for more proof and what should I do.

I want to be done with my naturalization papers soon so that I can petition for my fiance in the near future.

Does anyone have an idea what the turnaround time is after the interview for getting the visa? Need to make sure my fianc has accommodations during that time. Not sure if you can pick it up from the embassy when ready or have to wait until it is shipped to you.

Hello quick question if you do get your IR visa approve and then come to the US after the Interview and Pay the 220.00 for your green card. Am I able to travel to Mexico while I am waiting for my green card?

Quick question, my wife is expected to go into labor on early August and with all these new advance child credits that the IRS will be giving away I was wondering if I should do something right after my child is born, how should I inform the IRS? Also, would you recommend that I update my W4 with my employer as soon as he's born?

i was wondering. My fianc e has her interview scheduled in 2 weeks and we just received the instructions packet. In the instructions it asks for a copy and the original birth certificate for the petitioner and beneficiary. Would there be any issue with just a copy for the petitioner s birth certificate?

i don t feel comfortable sending the original birth certificate as I don t think she will get it in time. If it weren t for my work, I would go down there in person.
