US Immigration from Mexico

Hello,

Me (US citizen) and my wife (Philippines citizen) are currently in a long distance relationship and I am located in the US,she in the Philippines. We want visit Japan in Spring while we wait for the processing of our US visa application.

As I understand all Filipino residents need to submit an application to the Japanese embassy for a tourist visa, which includes proof of income, tax returns, and bank statements.

How can I best support this application process for my wife and what is the process of being a guarantor as her husband? We got married out of the country, so does providing that marriage certificate and a couple of my US based bank statements suffice?

She is currently unemployed and transitioning her career and studying. I support her in that time. How can I best prove that she is capable of participating in this trip ( I make enough to support both of us because I have a well paying job). Can she submit my bank statements to the agency that will help her with the process? Can I simply right a letter explaining the situation?

Has anyone else gone through this process? Any help would be appreciated!

***CRIMINAL RECORD/NEED ADVICE***
My husband was arrested in Mexico City 10 years ago.

I do not see any instructions for beneficiaries with a criminal record, only instruction for obtaining a certificate of no penales. But what if you have been arrested???

What documents does he need to have with him at the interview???
We were DQ'd by NVC in January 2023. By the looks of everyone else's wait time, he may get an interview in january 2024.

Anyone's spouse have a criminal record??? What did they need to bring to the interview????

I need some urgent help. I sponsored my husband on a fianc petition and later sponsored three of his children to come to the United States from Mexico. After being married I found out what my children were telling me all along is true. I met him in Mexico and I am 22 years older than him. Soon after he arrived my only son died suddenly and during my grieving he tried to groom one of my daughters to have sex with him. He actually admitted to me that was true. I told him to leave and he did for a short while go to live with his brother in another state. He pleaded with me to come back and, unfortunately, I allowed him to. He has never contributed to the household even though he works and all he wants is my money which I have little of. I am now 76 years old and disabled. I finally told him I wanted a divorce but now, I read I will have to support him and his children for another 5 years. Does anyone know how I can get around this by filling a paper that claims states what he has done? I can t afford an attorney. Thank you, in advance, for any advice you can give to me

I am the petitioner (U.S. citizen), my wife is Mexican. Our son is expected to be born in February. This is around the time frame of our estimate for i130 approval.
questions:

1. Does the baby need to be added at interview or simply obtain a passport for him since he will be a U.S. citizen at birth by my right?

2. Will nvc require my wife to insurance have health insurance at the time of entry? Open enrollment is coming up so I would need to add her now.
3. any other thoughts I m sure I haven t thought of with a newborn..
