US Immigration from Lebanon

Hi all,

It s been a long time since I ve been on this site or needed to file.

We would like to apply I 130 for my sister in law. She applied for a visitor visa and was denied right off the bat. I get it, she s young and didn t have enough proof for her to go back.
We were warned about it and expected it, but thought just to try.

She will be 21 in October (this year 2023). Anyone have any advice for documentation that will help other then passport, birth certificate and financial proof that can help her case?

Also how does it work if she s still waiting and she turns 21?

my husband had his interview today and he received this paper. Anyone have any info if they had good experience after this and if they got accepted. Also my father filled out a I-864 so not sure why they want a I-134 I m reading about it and it s for non immigrant visa so I m very confused. Medical examination was submitted before but they did not receive it in their system yet the rest I have to file and submit.

Hello, my husband s interview tomorrow and everything is prepared. Just like some information on those who had an interview what questions they ask. I have a good feeling but just want him to be more prepared.

My case was recently sent to Beirut from Abudhabi because my permanent residency now is beirut, but documents have been qualified since 6 months, the case status is still at NVC when can i expect an interview?!

HI i had my immigrant visa interview on aug 29 with my mom and my 19 years old brother our case had been expedited at that time due to the fact that i was 17 and was going to become 18 in oct.Our case had been expedited so that i could get a citizenship directly when i get to the us as i was still underage.On the day of the interview everything seemed to be going so smoothly but at the end of the interview the counselor gave a paper listing that my brother needed to fill out the ds 5535.I was surprised as my brother is 19 years old aswellas has never traveled any where before.it has been more then 60 days and no response has come in.Does anybody know how much time it could take.(ps my dad is the one sponsoring us)
