My mother is reapplying for B visa that expired just few months ago. She meets all criteria to renew her visa via mail, but she was prompted to schedule an interview. She is re-applying online for B1/B2 visa at US embassy in Cairo.

just wondering if anyone has similar experience recently and I'd appreciate any idea about how to deal with this situation since there is no interviews available until May 2022.

Hello, my case is IR2 , I m aging out in 4 months. I was documentary qualified last month and waiting for my interview. Should I be worried? Will I get my interview before becoming 21?! My embassy is in Lebanon. Is there anything I can do?

I just did my cr1 visa interview today in Beirut lebanon and it went well the officer said that my visa is approved but then he remembered that there is one last thing to do before giving me the visa which is to process the DS-5535 which is a background check now i have heard that some people who were given this form waited for months on end and some heard 2 weeks later did anyone get this form and how long till you heard back from the embassy

I want to know if I am eligible for a U-visa knowing that i now reside overseas.

I was in the united states back in 2003 on a student visa (F-1) and I was shot while working in a gas station during an armed robbery, I was hospitalized and a surgery was done. after a month I flew back to my home country to visit family and I was denied entry at the airport ( I was allowed to withdraw my admission application I-275) and my student visa was cancelled.

I have helped the detective identify the person who shot me and attended the court one time before I travel back home.

Now after 18 years, can I apply for the U-visa?
