US Immigration from Kenya

It took us three years from applying IR-1 till got the visa, then 3 years permanent resident , N-400 took one whole year to the interview and now 8 weeks or even more for the passport.

Does anyone know the typical time frame that NVC responds to your Expedited Interview request email?

What qualifies one to get an expedited appointments? I applied twice in Nairobi and i was denied yet i work in a hospital.

Hi VJ members, I naturalized American on November 20, my youngest daughter will turn 18 on December 24th, about a month since naturalization, they said if one of the parents naturalized American before his child turns 18, the child automatically acquires citizenship. Does this apply on my daughter?
