Hello. My Fiance tried to come visit me but they denied her entry at LAX. They believed she was coming to marry me even though we just intended to have a visit. Anyhow,

In her passport they stamped "Refused in accordance with INA section 217 R27041"

On her form I-877 it says she was inadmissible to the US by INA Section 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I).

Then the officer told her she will be refused entry under visa waiver program pursuant to Title 8 CFR Section 217.4 (a) (1).

She received no other paperwork nor any other stamps. She asked if it was a deportation and they said no.

Will this require an appeal? Is this a 5 year bar? I asked 2 immigration lawyers so far and both said no. I would like to know what some people here think or have experienced.

Thank you so much.

Proof of domicile

Hello! We just submitted I-130 online and received NOA1.
My husband and I live abroad together, so I guess we have to submit documents as proof of domicile to NVC once our petition is approved.

I'm planning to use my husband's dad's address as the place I intend to live. But if my husband moved to the US in advance (between IV package and interview), how should I report the new address to NVC?
Can I just say that the plan was changed and I'm planning on living in the new address my husband lives at that moment, not his dad's address at the interview?

My husband (AD) moved to the state 3 day ofter marriage due to PCS order 2020 August. I'm in a long-distance married for about 1year now.

I scheduled consult with legal officer on base September 2.

I'd like to know how to expedited processing with USCIS. or Is it faster we apply K-3 visa ?

I appreciate it if you would give me some advice.

Hi, I would like to ask people s experience on how long the biometric appointment itself took you?

I got my scheduled appointment on the same date I have a flight to go to Washington DC to my country s consulate for personal reasons. If the appointment doesn t take longer 1,5 hours, I can still make it to my flight.

I assume it s different in every state, but still would like to know people s experience.

I-864 Joint Tax Return Transcript

Hello,

My I-864 as the petitioner is done, and I am including:

- 2020 IRS Tax Return Transcript (filed single)

- 6 months pay stubs, letter of employment

- Birth Certificate

- Explanation that I made no income for 2018 and too little for 2019 so no tax return (included W-2 for 2019)

However, I m concerned about the joint sponsor. For them we have:

- 2020 IRS Tax Return Transcript (filed jointly)

- 2020 W-2/1040

- 6 months pay stubs

- Birth certificate

Do they need to include the 1040 and add the 1099s? Or is it enough to add the W-2 to the joint transcript? It should be noted that the sponsor is the sole breadwinner of the family, so the spouses income is 0.

Also, a significant portion of the sponsors income comes from their bonus, but in either case their income is healthily above the poverty threshold.

So for their annual individual income, should they put the annual salary on their paystub as their salary, or project it based on their actual paystub amounts, which would end up much higher? Estimating their annual income will come out to about 10% less than last years tax return, so I m hoping that would be okay and not raise questions.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am close to filing.
