I'm filing the I-485 and came across a section in the instructions regarding J1 visas. According to the instruction, I need to submit Form I-94 in J1 status. Documentation Regarding J-1 or J-2 Exchange Visitor Status If you previously held or currently hold J-1 (principal) or J-2 (dependent) nonimmigrant exchange visitor status, you must submit copies of all relevant Forms IAP-66 and/or Forms DS-2019, Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status, ever issued to you (if available). You must also submit copies of all available J-1 or J-2 nonimmigrant visas issued to you, and copies of all available Form I-94 and passport pages with entry stamps showing your admission to the United States in J-1 or J-2 status. I know that I can obtain my most recent I-94 on the website here (https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home), but how do I obtain my old I-94 record? My travel on J1 visa is 9 years ago. Can I get the record online or as long as I have copies of J1 visa, DS-2019, and passport pages with entry stamps in J1 status, I don't have to submit I-94 in J1 status?

Hello all! Finally decided on making an account as I've been lurking this site for quite some time. I recently submitted an online I-130 for my wife. I realized that when you view the auto generated pdf, that my current employer's address is cut off. I had no issues when entering it into the original only field, it seems to just be cut off on the electronic pdf sample. (The letter is literally cut off half way through, so it's clear that some info is missing). Am I about to get hit with an RFE or am I just experiencing the stress that everyone does once they finally submit their I-130? Can USCIS see my original online answers? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I am F1 student since Aug 2021. I got married to a US citizen in Feb 2022. We filed AOS along with AP, EAD few days ago. Now my husband have to move to other state(8hrs flight away) from this August for 2 years due to his work. What can I do with my school? I assume I have few option below...? 1) Transfer college from next Fall 2022 semester? (Is it possible to change school after filled AOS? I-20, SEVIS, VISA number will be changed from what I declared on my AOS application?) 2) Just quit school and come with my husband. (I guess it look bad on my interview day if I quit school after a year of F1 entry) 3) Take one semester off(I saw few post saying F1 student are eligible to take one semester off) and see the AOS process. Then going back to school or quite after. 4)Do not risk at all. Just keep going to school. Also, after what procedure I will be eligible to be a resident student? (Tuition wise) Thank you so much.

Hello. I am F-1 student and married to US citizen. Now I am about to submit I-485, I-130, I-131 and I-765 at the same time to Chicago USCIS. For the filling fee, do I just include checks for I-485 ($1225) and I-130 ($535)? Or should I pay for I-765 ($410) and I-131 ($575) as well? I thought fee for I-131 will be waived if I do concurrent filling with I-485? How about I-765? Thank you so much!

Hi, I am currently at the NVC stage and have paid the fees weeks ago. I have been collecting and uploading documents, haven't pressed submit yet. Suddenly just got a message "NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all of the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case. Please follow your CEAC Home page and https://nvc.state.gov." It is showing the IV fee being not paid again, but I looked on my bank statements and I definitely paid. Is this an error or did I do something wrong and need to pay again? I have tried to email NVC and they take weeks to answer, and I do not live in the US so cannot call.
