US Immigration from Jamaica

My daughter did her biometrics in February, they didn't do fingerprints just took her picture. Since then it has been crickets from USCIS... until today. I got an email that an action has been taking on her case that needs attention, when I checked it says a biometrics was scheduled. Any idea why she would need a second? She's 13

I am the petitioner and my husband s I-130 was approved on September 16, 2024. I received the letter from NVC on September 20, 2024 and paid both fees online (Affidavit of Support & IV) on September 23, 2024.

I lost my job which was the employment I indicated on my I-130. I am also a real estate investor however I didn't put self employment in the I-130 because I have not been producing a positive Net income since COVID. My business bank account has some savings and I have 2 rental properties remaining since I sold 2 since 2022. I also have a retirement account. I say all this because I am wondering what I should do from here given the info I have provided? Ive been looking for work since August 2024 and no luck yet.

I am aware that the tax documents (transcripts) will show my LLC filing with negative Net income, hence why I never included self employment and only entered W2 salary.

Any suggestions based on what I have presented here? Do I move forward with the NVC Affidavit of Support and present assets or should I hold off a bit and see if I land something soon? Looking forward to your replies.

Hello! It's been a while since I've been on this site. I'm planning to apply for a visiting visa for my mom in Jamaica . Do you think she'll need a job letter as part of the application? I've been living in the USA for 8 years, and I m a US citizens. I'm hoping she won't have any issues getting approved for the visa. What are experiences?

Hi everyone I m going to fill out the affidavit of support form as a cosponsor for my God son. The petitioner is signing the affidavit for his mom (the fianc e).

Can I send scan copy of the I-864 to the embassy or does it need to be original with signature?

Does the petitioner have to note somewhere that they are using a cosponsor for the child of their finance or do I simple fill out the form stating I m the cosponsor?

also, is it necessary for a cosponsor if the petitioner makes over $30,000 with no dependent?
I want to increase the chances of my friend getting approved so would it help that I sign for my God since I make a very decent income with no dependents right now.

FYI, I m filing for my parents but with my income I will still meet the guidelines.
