US Immigration from Jamaica

Hi I am starting this forum to ask a question. I was filed for by my mom in 2017. At first a visa was not available for me, last year I received an email from nvc stating they are ready to proceed with collecting documents. Payments were made and documents submitted, further in the year I received another email saying I am awaiting an interview date but because my priority date isn t current I will have to wait until it s current. Does anyone know typically how long you stay DQ until your priority date is current?

i have an interview coming next week for March 28th. I attended my medical exam. At my exam they informed me that I needed a covid vaccine booster, yet they dont offer that at st andrews. Moreover, I was informed that the current covid vaccine thats in Jamaica is expired and that KSAC says that the expired vaccine is good until October of this year. I am very concern about this because I dont want an expired vaccine to enter my body.

Does anyone have an alternative to this?

My medical report is still at st andrews hospital and cant be sent to the US embassy until the vaccine has been taken.

Our refusal status language has changed. Our interview was in October 2023, we were requested to provide a police report, Impediment form, and Passport. We finally figured out how to go about obtaining the documents after the runaround for 3 months because Jamaica does not provide clear and concise information and instruction.

So, we turned in the information last month, and understandably our case remained in the same refused status since our interview in October 2023. Our status has changed about 4 times since February 20th. My question is; what is the difference in the refusal languages?

Any idea the turnaround time from DQ to interview at US Embassy Kingston, Jamaica for 1R1/CR1 spousal visas?
