US Immigration from Jamaica

Good day, I am a foreign national (Jamaica) in a relationship with a US citizen and would like to know which process is recommended out of the following options. The end goal is getting married and living together permanently in the US.

1) Get H2B visa, marry in US, adjust status
2) Get H2B visa, get engaged, leave US, apply for K1-visa, adjust status
3) Get H2B visa, get married, leave the US when H2B expires, apply for IR-1/CR-1

The H2B visa is necessary as I would like some time to get to know my partner's family and friends prior to marriage by staying in the US but I would also like to be working so that I can save towards our future/support myself while I'm there.

What's the timeline for CR-1 2024? Do anyone have a journey to share?

Hello. I have a question my husband is a green card holder and I m a US citizen and we want to file for his mom to come to the US. Is it possible for us to file for her since he s a green card holder?

USCIS received my application on June 20 2023 and started actively reviewing my Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative on August 16 2023. When I log into the portal, under myProgress it states the estimated time until the case decision is 12 months as of today (yesterday it stated 9 months).

When I look up processing times for service centers and this category it states 80% of cases are completed within 14.5 months.

Additionally, if I enter my receipt date it states The earliest you can submit questions is April 16, 2025. Please do not contact us before this date. We will notify you if we need any additional information. We appreciate your patience while we review your case. Processing times may change return to this page regularly for updates.

Lastly, why would an applicant have to wait almost 2 years to submit a question to USCIS?

Any feedback related to any of this would be appreciated.
