Our case will be processed through the Dublin embassy. Is a drug test included in the medical exam?

we re having a strange and frustrating situation with the Nvc. My step dad is our joint sponsor and my mom is his household member. The Nvc accepted my moms tax forms & proof of filing but rejected my step dads - it s the same exact document considering they filed jointly. I ve called twice and all I get is that s weird, I have no idea why that s happening, just resubmit. I called again yesterday and was told if we get rejected again a supervisor can look at it but that could take 6 weeks.
anyone have any advice? Is there a way to speak to a supervisor?

Does anyone know if the Dublin Embassy will still be open / doing interviews if Ireland goes into level 4?

Got another question for all you lovely people

So I just checked my case status in the CEAC webstite. I typed in our NVC case number and this is what it says:

READY. My interview was on the 6th of October and was given 221g because i didnt have the right passport size photo and i needed a new police report. On the 7th of October my case showed ready after submiting on CEAC the documents requested and send original copies by mail. and today it has been updated and still showing ready. what does this mean?

Status Updated Date: 13-Oct-2020

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Hey! guys is it a good sign when embassy keeps your passport after interview? Does the embassy return original docs after interview or after issuing the visa?
