I got updated status via email about the interview. I have to take the medical examination, as I didn't submit the I-693. How long would it take to actually receive the letter for interview and time until I have to appear for the interview (approximation)? Shall I go ahead and get the medical examination part done, while waiting for the interview schedule?

Meanwhile, I have been working to keep all the documents ready and in order - copies and originals. Copies of submitted applications and all the I-797 notices, all the proofs of relationships.

I would appreciate inputs , especially someone from the recent interview experience. Thanks a bunch!

2 yr conditional GC/CR1 expired on 5/31/2019

ROC filed : 3/2019

Citizenship filed 3/2020

Current extension letter expires on Nov 30/2020. We are visiting India now. We have a 17 month old baby. She is 6 week pregnant with 2nd baby now . She is feeling very anxious to travel to USA with current COVID situation to get the I-551 stamp. We haven't made infopass appointment yet. Is there anything she can do about I-551 stamp in India by showing pregnancy/COVID risk as reasons. Receipt # starts with MSC****** at Newark office. Not sure when we will get the interview.

What is the worst case scenario if she decides to not to travel to USA for the I-551 stamp. What are her options? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone, I need some inputs from experts in this forum. My application for naturalization is denied 9 Expecting denial letter any time soon )

Reason : I filed my application of March 9th, 2020 in Cleveland. I was just moved to Cleveland on 01/15/2020, so not able to justify three months residency in current jurisdiction.

Interview officer wen on my civics question and reading and writing skills and then started going through my application, and he found that by the time I applied my stay in Ohio is 52 days only and the requirement is 90 days. I really don't know how I missed it though :(. Officer told me he is rejecting my application and will receive a denial letter soon.

After doing some research on VJ, I found that I did satisfy my residency in current state requirement. Here is the reason why I think its a mistake from office.

I got GC on 06/01/2015, Five years will complete by 05/30/2020, where as I applied on based on 90 days early filing. For early filing the current state of res1dency requirement seems different. See the below statement.

D. 90-Day Early Filing Provision (INA 334)

"In cases where an applicant has filed early and the required three month period of residence in a state or service district falls within the required five-year period of continuous residence, jurisdiction for filing will be based on the three-month period immediately preceding the examination on the application."

As per the above statement by 05/30/2020 I am meeting the required 90 days stay in current jurisdiction.

I am thinking of appealing my denial, please suggest.

Thank You!

Hello All,

I have a couple of questions and need some guidance on how to best organize the documents. I read on the USCIS Website where it says " If you have any attachments, make sure each attached page has your name and A-Number (if any). You may also number the pages and include the total amount of pages being attached (for example, page 1 of 11 )."

1) Can I use binders from Staples to organize the different sets of documents, W2/Tax/BankStatement/Etc/Etc ?

2) Should we write the name and A number on all the supporting documents ?

Thanks,

DV

My spouse and adult child received their interview date 2 weeks ago. No movement in my N-400 case since bio metrics in Dec 2019 (Dallas).

All three of us applied on same day. Did anyone see this happen?

I know there is not guarantee that they will process all applicants from same family on same day. However, after two weeks I'm wondering if there are anyone else in similar situation.
