US Immigration from Honduras

I just received my notification via e-mail that the Embassy in Honduras has accepted my request for expedite and our case is being sent to Honduras now. Do I still need to pay the fee's through NVC that is stated on the website? I made the payments and they are processing and I am afraid I didn't need to make those payments.

I have been doing my research with the NVC stage and I know my husband will need to fill out the DS-261 form first. I am confused though because I have been told that my husband will need to have his signature for the form, but then I read where the DS-form is filled out online. So is this a form that needs his signature or he can complete online? Is there another form that would need his signature?

I am preparing documents for my husband right now for the NVC process. My husband was in the Honduras Military from 2010-2014. He has his original document from being in the military. Does he need to obtain a newer document that is within a year old? This is the original one with all the stamps and signatures.

I am currently the petitioner for my step-son. I submitted my 2017 tax returns to the NVC in March (prior to filing my 2018 taxes). They just sent me a message asking that i upload my W2 from the 2017 tax year. Should i also upload my 2018 federal tax return and associated W2s since I have now filed them as well?

Hi All,

I am currently in the process (NVC) of completing my step-son's immigrant visa. He already has a visitors visa for which he has visited the US prior to beginning the immigrant process. Is he able to come for a vacation to the USA (1-2 weeks) and return to his home country before completing the immigration process?
