US Immigration from Ghana

Hello VJers,

I filled form I-130 for my mom which is at NVC at the moment. My mom and dad have been divorced for about 30years. My mom remarried and is now a widow. I have the death certificate for her late husband. I just got an email from NVC requesting for Divorce paperwork between my mom and dad. My parent never had a marriage certificate nor divorce papers. How do I go about this? any answers will be appreciated.

Please I need someone to confirm whether I have to bring the I-184 form AOS on the day of interview together with the Tax Return or just bring the Tax Return ?

Will the Tax Return be enough?

Help!!!!! I am completing the I864 and I have just a couple of questions I need assistance with.

1. There are fields on the form that require an answer but do not allow an entry. So do I print the form and type or handwrite the answers?
   • For instance
     • Part 1. Basis For Filing Affidavit of Support Apt # in Mailing Address
     • Part 5 Sponsor's Household Size
       • 1. Provide the number your entered in Part 3., Item Number 29. (will not let me enter a number)
       • 2. Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:
         • I entered 1 for myself
         • #3 is confusing - If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse (I thought I already entered 1 for my spouse who is immigrating here

Please I want to find out when do you register for courier service? Is it prior to the interview or after the interview?

Secondly, how do you register? Also, can anyone recommend any courier service provider

Well, that was not the result we were expecting! After waiting for almost 2 years of Covid delays we finally got an interview for today 10-18th, interview went ok, but she asked for the original marriage certificate, which is with me in the states, my husband has a certified copy which he did show her, but she wanted the original, as well as pictures from our wedding, which of course are with me. The 221g states to submit those documents via Dhl, but my husband did not ask what was next. I have sent the original marriage certificate and our marriage photos a few min ago ( cost over $100 just to send documents! ) My husband should receive them this Thursday. Once received he has to take them in person to the DHL office who will then send the documents to the Embassy, along with his passport. Any ideal of the next steps? I'm sure no one can give me a timeframe as to how long this should take, after waiting almost 2 years, I hope it wont be long. Anyone that has been in a similar situation feedback would be greatly appreciated.
