Will we be denied when re-submitting I-864 & Evidence? |

We submitted our I-485 and I-864 back in June and now have gotten a request for evidence. The letter is very vague and just says that we do not qualify, which according to our understanding of tripple-reading everything and checking the limits, is not correct. Since the documents in the "Uploads" section are a little bit disorganzied and do not even include a scan of the submitted I-864, we suspect that they might have missed the form or evidence we submitted. So we want to re-submit our I-864 and evidence. Our question (and worry) is: If they are still not pleased with this, will they simply ask us again for evidence or will they straight out deny our case?

Hi everyone, we had our interview on August 23,2021in Frankfurt Germany- K1 visa, I am the petitioner. We were missing a birth certificate unfortunately (long story). The officer kept my fiances passport. It took us a while to get his birth certificate and we sent it out on September 14th, 2021. The CEAC website says case refused and last update on September 17, 2021. Should i be worried?

Hello lovely people, I have a question about the Affidavit of Support. Based on the documentation from the travel.state.gov site, the Sponsor is required to provide 125% of the poverty rate. If I as the petitioner do not have a job at the time of the visa being issued but have sufficient savings of the exact amount, will that suffice? Is the 125% of the poverty rate only required for 1 year or like do I need much more than that? Thank you, Coffee2Go

Hello, Quick question for all you lovely people. Can my spouse hypothetically just receiving the IR1 Visa here in Germany, then have immediate rights to work once moving to the U.S.? Is there any additional forms or process needed for my spouse to be able to seek employment? An extra work permit process? Thanks, Coffee2Go

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone who received the proof of domicile request knows the actual next step we are supposed to take. I live in Germany with my husband, and I am a disabled woman with a high risk pregnancy. I would like to move to the US with my husband in December. We will be moving in with my parents temporarily, but with my Mom also being disabled, and my Dad working full time a ways away, my husband really is a huge support system to me. I have my proof (car registration and insurance, bank and credit card statements, tax documents, storage unit receipts, renewed drivers license, voting record, extensive travel to the US pre-covid and once post-covid, I even have a Maternal Fetal Specialist who will be taking over my pregnancy care as soon as I arrive in the US), the question is, how am I supposed to submit it? Do we send it to the NVC now, or are we supposed to wait until we are scheduled for an interview? They said that can take up to 30 days, and I don't want to wait that time and then discover it wasn't scheduled because we didn't submit. If we submit it to the NVC, how? Obviously, our I-864 wasn't enough, are we supposed to submit another one? I plan on calling them today when they open, but trying to be as prepared as possible! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
