Proper steps when asked for proof of domicile

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone who received the proof of domicile request knows the actual next step we are supposed to take. I live in Germany with my husband, and I am a disabled woman with a high risk pregnancy. I would like to move to the US with my husband in December. We will be moving in with my parents temporarily, but with my Mom also being disabled, and my Dad working full time a ways away, my husband really is a huge support system to me.

I have my proof (car registration and insurance, bank and credit card statements, tax documents, storage unit receipts, renewed drivers license, voting record, extensive travel to the US pre-covid and once post-covid, I even have a Maternal Fetal Specialist who will be taking over my pregnancy care as soon as I arrive in the US), the question is, how am I supposed to submit it?

Do we send it to the NVC now, or are we supposed to wait until we are scheduled for an interview? They said that can take up to 30 days, and I don't want to wait that time and then discover it wasn't scheduled because we didn't submit.

If we submit it to the NVC, how? Obviously, our I-864 wasn't enough, are we supposed to submit another one? I plan on calling them today when they open, but trying to be as prepared as possible!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I-134 Question regarding tax return

Hello :),

I am kinda preparing myself for the NVC -> Embassy stage where we have to file I-134 (Affidavit of Support).

A lot of this is actually clear, the only thing which makes me feel worried is the submitting part of the tax reports.

In our case we have only one tax report but an actual sustainable income (past 6 months around) which fits the poverty guidelines.

I know this question might have been already asked many times, but maybe somebody can state on this

situation what would be best to do?

Nobody wants to have a denial or anything similar, so in this case if its preventable maybe

there are people outside with experience what they did. Thx :)

Estimated time* until case decision:

Things are taking longer than expected. You do not have to do anything at this time.

Is any one experiencing this?

Visa denied because proof of assets missing

Today my wife's visa application got denied in Frankfurt USA consulate. I am a naturalized US citizen, living in Germany, and I opted to use my assets for I-864 as they are sufficiently enough.

My wife tells that the interviewer said to her: "I need to see proof of assets" and asked her to send an e-mail with "documents" to embassy e-mail, denying the application.

This is very odd because we already submitted to the ceac.state.gov our proof of assets listing my investment bank account balance, home ownership info.

Anyone else had a similar case? Can it be the officer didn't know how to interpret the existing documents or didn't some how have access to the documents?

thanks,

Questions for I130 processing. Fast approval for many forum members? Is there any notification between I130 NOA1 and NOA2?

Hi everyone,

I think I remember some thread where someone said they received a notification that their I-130 is now being processed before getting the NOA2. We turned in our I-130 in early April and I just did a search in the database and was very surprised to see that most people who sent their applications around the same time (like us from Europe/EU/Germany) already have theirs approved. We are still waiting... I know that this topic comes up very often. Should we be concerned about this (of course I am concerned, but I am just surprised how fast the process is for many in a similar situation as ours, especially as ours should be a super-safe case)? I am still getting the same message since we turned it in...

On April 8, 2021, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number (removed), and sent you a receipt notice or acceptance notice. The notice describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

On my receipt it says we're at Nebraska Service Center. I read somewhere that that might not be correct if I filed online. How do I find that out?

best, Tom
