US Immigration from France

Has anyone been able to get a K1 visa after a 212(a)(7)(A)(i)(I) was written on their passport. the officer said my ESTA is gone forever but that I may apply to come with a Visa. They suspected I would stay unfortunatley, which wasnt the case. Now me and my fiance are apart.

Can someone explain what this means that was posted on the NVC website yesterday in relation to the milligan v pompeo

Does anyone have any success with the expedite requests, I know what the requirements are. Just looking for other peoples advice on how they successfully argued their case as well as what their reasoning was. I spoke to an immigration attorney and he seemed pretty confident he could help us for a giant fee but he said last month out of 100 they all got approved.. That being the case I feel like maybe I dont need him and can write up my own email..

Did any of you who got approved used an attorney? What was the process like and those who got denied care to share your experience?

We are in the schengen area FYI

My fiance and I applied for the k-1 back in Feb and we got approved in June. However, they have not sent our case yet to the embassy in France as they are not processing them right now.

I was wondering since I live in California and Mexico is just a half hour drive away - would it be possible to contact the NVC to have our case moved over to Mexico where they are currently processing and doing the interviews? Or are we stuck doing them in France since that is the home town of my fiance?

Any advice would be great..

has anyone who filed in June/ July had their biometric appointment at the Raleigh office ? I put a service request for mine but highly doubt I will get an answer , also put a service request for i131 outside of normal processing time.. . I had a tier 2 officer call me but wasn't much help either
