Courier-In Authorization Certificate Question

My fianc e and I had our visa interview on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the US Embassy in Paris. Our application was rejected under 221(g) because we need to submit two additional police reports. The rejection is not bad, the Embassy said it's more of a formality. We just have to provide the two additional police reports and they will issue the visa to her. However, submitting the two additional police reports is not 100% clear. On the Yatri site (/ais.usvisa-info.com/...), we had to select an option that indicates we are to provide additional documents to the Embassy. Once we selected through a few windows, the final window reads as follows:

You must courier your documents into the U.S. Consular Section. Please gather the requested documents and generate a "Courier-In Authorization Certificate" by clicking the "View Courier-in receipt" button below. Include a copy of these instructions in the list of documents you send to the Consular Section.

When you select the "View Courier in-receipt" button, there are instructions for mailing the additional documents. The instructions include "This certificate authorizes [[Insert Applicant's name here]] to use the designated CSRA courier to deliver supporting visa application documents to the United States Paris Consulate free of charge."

Few questions:
1) Has anyone had to mail additional documents via the courier service before?

2) Do you have to use the courier service? Or can you just mail the documents to the US Embassy without using the courier service?

3) The instructions say "[p]ut the 'Postreponse' information on the address side of the envelope. Mention this information and ONLY this information on the address side of the envelope: Ambassade des Etats-Unis / Service des Visas Autorisation XXX 75 385 Paris Cedex 08" - this question, may be obvious, but what exactly is the Postreponse? Are we supposed to cut out the barcode, applicant name, visa class, CSRA ID, DS-160 Number, and Destination from the courier certificate and tape it on the front of the envelope? I may not be reading this accurately, and I am to only put the French address (above in bold) on the address side of the envelope, as the instructions mention.

Thanks for your help!

Craig

Do I need to fill form DS 5507 for my child's passport application?

Hi everyone,

I was going through the required documents for my child's passport application and something is not clear, I am hoping someone here can help.

My child was born overseas but we currently live in the US. She has a CRBA and got her first passport while overseas. Now it's time to renew her passport and DS 5507 is listed under the required documents for applicants born outside the US but the CRBA already states she's a US citizen...I renewed my first child passport a couple of years ago (same situation) and I don't remember that form. And all my research indicates that the form is used to support CRBA applications. Does anyone know if it is required?

Thanks in advance for your help.

i-751 - Mailing address / Temporary physical address

Hello everyone!
I am finishing the last step on my ROC application, and I am not sure what to do about Part 1 (16-17) of the I-751 form.
My husband and I just relocated to another area in the same state. We sold our house and moved November 1st but we re in a temporary accommodation (Airbnb) and might not be there for more than a month or two (until we buy a house).
We changed our USCIS address to my in laws about 1,5 month ago. We wrote a letter of explanation to make everything clear for the USCIS officer and explain our situation but I don t want to mess up the I-751 form.
I will put my in laws address as our mailing address as planned, but should I say Yes to the question asking if our physical address is different? It is different, so I don t want to lie, but at the same time we ll be gone in a month or 2, it s very temporary. I don't want this Airbnb address to be linked to my case. What should I do?
Thank you so much in advance!

Hello everyone !

- Just asking for some advice before NVC and Embassy stage

We are at our 7 month waiting for our I-130 and we are thinking what option between postponing the embassy ITW (Is it even possible ? Paris embassy) or wait before submit all the documents required at the nvc stage ?

The reason that we want to wait is that we are both working until end of April 2024 and we obviously want to wait until that date because that's gonna be our 2 years anniversary.

Both living together in France for years.

Thanks

Denis & Annie

Howdy! My i751 status changed from case is being reviewed to new card is being processed . No interview nothing.
last week I inquired on my i751 and uscis responded the following:

Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on 06/04/2021. On 05/29/2022, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time.

Am I supposed to expect to receive a date for my n400 interview soon then? Anyone experienced anything similar
