US Immigration from Dominican Republic

I petitioned for my stepchildren and I was wondering if a DNA test is required for my husband and the kids. Two of the kids have already been approved and are awaiting the interview date, but we have not received any communication from immigration regarding the DNA test. Is this not required because I'm (stepmother) the petitioner? And if this is required, where in the process do we do this?

Everyone that I know that has petitioned for their kids from DR had to get this test done.

I ve been waiting for the interview dates at the consulate in DR with no luck. Looking for any comments on this and approx dates. How are yours looking. It s for my daughters visa.

Is there a way for the minor child of a deceased green card holder to get a Visa?

My step daughter is 11 she arrived in USA August 2020 and i'm still waiting for her SS card, i called today and they told me because she is a minor she can not get an appointment and will have to wait until they re open,

does any one know if this is actually true or should i call again and try to speak to someone else.

I accidently marked I was married before but I have not been married. They sent out an RFE requesting additional information. Should I just write a letter stating I made a mistake and have never been married and have that letter notarized?
