Guys, I just got my combo card (I-765 & I-131) and I'm thinking about to travel back to my country to visit family and friends. I've been reading on internet about issues traveling with an Advance Parole, so I'm scare about to use it. Just so you guys can analyze my case, here's a recap of my timeline: - I got into the USA on August 02, 2019 on a B2 visa (I-94 approved until February 1st, 2020).
- Married with an USC on Nov 18, 2019.
- AOS filed on January 13, 2020 (Priority date).
- Got AP on January 30, 2021.
- As of today, I still waiting for an interview.
I have not had problems of any kind with any agency (Police, Immigration, etc...) Based on my timeline and your experience, what problems would I face if I left the USA?

I can't believe I got a letter saying they need more evidence because my parents registered my birth 3 years later after I waa born, most people my age in the Dominican Republic were registered late, specifically in rural areas like mine, so they are used to seeing on people from my country. I have my school record from 2005-2009 with my moms name and mine, so from my 13 to my 17 years old more or less, the letter says the oldest school record but that is the oldest I have. We are going to get my baptism record but I don't know if that will be found. 2 Affidavit of support, 1 from my uncle and 1 from my sister, all of us were registered late so we are going to sent my sisters' birth certificate as well. Photos I think we only have photos from when I was 14 and up, but maybe we can find one or two from when I was little, I mean people back then in a rural area didn't worry about pictures and they were costly so no everybody could afford it. My mom has visited me and I visited her every year too, she is obviously my mom and we have always been together, I hope we can prove it. If someone has any experience please share, thia is stressing me out.

1. We filed and received receipt notice for I130 from USCIS. My husband's visitor visa expires Feb 1st. Can he stay while they process application? 2. Also, should we go ahead and file Change of Status application? 3. And, is there a way he can work while waiting? He's an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor and has a 10 year Visitors Visa he originally required for work but here now on B2 visitor visa. Thank you for any information!

my stepsons recently came to live with us here in New Jersey after nearly two years of waiting. Their mom passed away after a tragic car accident. my husband is a naturalized citizen and I am US born. now that they are here I am curious to know the next steps in them obtaining citizenship. I believe I only need to get their social security numbers and then later apply for a us passport is this correct? I am also curious to know if there is an easy way to change their name legally without paying ridiculous fees. We wish to drop the second last name for simplicity sake, things get so mixed up and complicated with two last names here in the states. my husband did this with his n400 but the boys are taking different route to citizenship. any recommendations appreciated!

Hello everyone, thanks for reading. My husband and I are looking into getting him a tourist visa for 3 months (I think that is the maximum) from Dominican Republic to the US. I take lots of trips there but it is very expensive and hard to be off work for long periods of time. Our i130 was received in June 30 2020 and I haven t heard anything since So what I m asking is will our paperwork be jeopardized if we got him a tourist visa while we wait? I have heard of people trying to beat the system and just come and stay on a tourist visa and never leave. That obviously isn t what we would be doing but I m wondering if they will think that because of our situation? Also if he is able to come on a tourist visa, after the 3 months when he has to leave, are we able to get it renewed or something along that line? Or can he come again after returning to Dominican Republic for a week or so? Anything like that? Also are other people having similar wait times? I m not sure what to expect with the offices being delayed by COVID and this being our first time going through this process. If anyone has any insight on our timing, tourist visa info, or anything related to this please comment I appreciate it greatly!!!
