I filed my I-751 back in December 2022 and the last update was last December where they transferred it to another office (NBC) as per USCIS page I could ask for an update since it's been so long, now my question is have you requested information and had a positive result? If so, how long after the request? Thanks for any input.

My partner came here on a Fiance Visa. We married in the 90-day window and filed for Adjustment of Status. That is in process now. At some point, we anticipate we'll be asked to go for interviews. We are a same-sex couple and, under this current "administration," we are worried we will be subjected to extra scrutiny. Has anyone done an Adjustment of Status interview recently? What sort of evidence do we need to be prepared to provide? We've tried to follow the rules, but right now, that may not be sufficient. Do we need to be prepared to bring photos, videos, documents? Any advice is appreciated.

| Divorce while Adjustment of Status is in-process? |

Apologies if this has been asked before. I searched but did not see anything. If someone came to the USA on a Fiance visa, married within the 90-day window, and submitted the proper Adjustment of Status paperwork (in other words, they followed the correct process) ... but while that Adjustment for a Green Card was in-process, they filed for divorce, what would be the outcome? Clearly, they would no longer have their original sponsor and that original adjustment process would be stopped. But assume they then married a different person and then filed a new Adjustment of Status with that second marriage ... would that be allowed? Or would immigration flag this as some sort of fraud. I cannot find an answer to this question. I appreciate any insights.

| NVC asking for W-2/1099 even though Joint Sponsor is self-employed |

Hi everyone, I recently submitted all required documents to NVC, and today I received this message: Please submit every 2024 W-2, 1099, and Schedule from Joint Sponsor. However, everything else was marked as Accepted the only issue seems to be with this part. My joint sponsor is self-employed and owns a restaurant. I already uploaded her complete 2024 tax return in one 26-page PDF file, which included: -
Form 8879 (IRS e-file Signature Authorization) -
Form 1040 and 1040-V -
Schedule 1 (Additional Income and Adjustments to Income) -
Schedule 2 (Additional Taxes) -
Schedule C (Profit or Loss from Business) -
Schedule E (Supplemental Income and Loss) -
Schedule SE (Self-Employment Tax) -
Form 6251 (Alternative Minimum Tax) -
Schedule EIC, Schedule 8812, Form 8995, Form 8582, Form 8867, Form 4562. So basically, her full tax return is there. But I m confused because, to my understanding, self-employed people usually don t have W-2s, and if she didn t receive any 1099s, there wouldn t be any to include. Has anyone else gotten this same message from NVC for a self-employed joint sponsor? Are they just requesting clarification that there are no W-2s or 1099s, or should I try re-uploading the 2024 Tax document again (The 26 pages PDF file with all the forms)? Any advice from those who ve gone through this would be really helpful.
