How long after the approval of a N-400 is the norm for the scheduling of the citizenship oath at the Fairfax Office? Thanks.

My husband had the interview yesterday and needs an I212 waiver for the following reasons 6C1, 9C1.

I have two situations which will be more extreme pain to present 1) I am in charge of my parents over 80 who have been diagnosed with dementia and 2) I have had a knee problem for a year and if the therapy did not improve, I will need surgery. For none of these reasons I can live with my husband in his country and I need his help in USA. What do you advise me?

It took USCIS 26 days to send this response denying an infopass. Emergency appointments only with proof. Call back and wait almost a month? Forget it. I got faster service filing a writ of mandamus in federal court. I am embarrassed that I worked for INS years ago.

I am the petitioner and I received an email from the NVC that the visa petition was sent to the Bogota embassy on 6/8/2021. I know it usually takes a couple of weeks to receive an email from the embassy with the packet of instructions but we have received nothing. I ve tried emailing them - nada. So my questions are:

- Can we go ahead and schedule an interview without receiving the packet of instructions? I definitely don t want this to backfire on us since this process has taken some time but not sure if this is the way to go at this point?

- Is there a number that I can contact that would be answered by a person? It seems like they don t really respond to emails

- Is there anything I can do? Or I just have to wait? Is the packet of instructions suppose to arrive via email to me or to my fianc ?

We might be being impatient but we just want it to continue moving and it was looking hopeful that things were moving along until now.

Its odd its our second time applying for travel document. My wife and son both applied, my wife recieved her 4 months ago. Today my 12 year old son received instead of the travel a biometrics appoitment? anyone experience this?

My son had his biometrics taken two years ago when we first applied for AOS, its now going on two years and cant even get a travel document renewed efficiently.
