Hi all and thanks for any advice you can provide. My step daughter sent in he I-130 (married to a US Citizen) but also wanted to send in the I-485 (at the same time) but wasn't able to due to website limitation. Has anyone ever gone through a similar process that could provide some help? Also wondering if we could go ahead and mail in the I-485 now. Thanks for your time and efforts!

Hi, My fianc e are preparing for the K1 visa interview in Bogota, Colombia. We are making final preparations by getting her birth certificate translated into English. I don't think the translation will be an issue because she is going to have someone professionally translate it into English. But I'm concerned about the original birth certificate because the font on the form is faded. As you can see, the actual information that was typed is very legible, which is the most important part. See the attachment. She requested a copy of the birth certificate and it looks the same as the original. Do you think this will be a problem for the interview or when we start the AOS process here? If this will be an issue, how do we get a better copy if the one provided to her is just as faded as the original? Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks! Kelly

Hi everyone, My husband moved to the US on a K1 in October 2015. We married in November 2015 and immediately adjusted status. His Conditional Permanent Resident card was approved in April 2016. Conditions were removed in and approved in February 2019. on USICS s website under am I eligible, it asks if you became a LPR (lawful) before April 2017 and then it s the 5 year rule. My question is does the 5 year rule Apply to when you became a Conditional Resident or a Lawful resident? Or does it mean when you moved here? Thanks!

Im in California and have been waiting well over 2 years , the website has said waiting to be scheduled for interview for the last two years. Anyone have any thoughts on anything that I can do? This is crazy, advance parole cards are also taking 14-20 months as well. These people are a joke
