My sister in law has an appointment in Montgomery soon. Are they still doing same day ceremonies? The last report I got was a year ago from a friend. With this getting closer and closer to the holidays it would be nice to know if this will be completed in one day, or if we will need to go back.

I have been married to a Colombia woman for over ten years. We lived together in Colombia for four years and I am legally married to her in Colombia. We started the CR1 visa process many years ago, but due to some traumatic life events in life we allowed it to lapse. She is also now has a United States tourist VISA. She is going to come stay with me for awhile in March and I want to know what steps I should take in regards to beginning the VISA process again in this scenario. If I start the CR1 process now, will they revoke her tourist VISA? I am not exactly sure how that works. I know since we are legally married in Colombia, the VISA application has to be submitted there, but will that have any effect on her tourist VISA? I know there is more than one way to go through process.

Hi I filed my CR-1 petition on August 23, 2021. The NOA for the I-130 is August 31, 2021. I do not see my petition listed on the site that lists all petitions. Does that mean it was lost? Any ideas as to what to do? CSIS has not requested anything. thanks jack overlie

I filed separate I130 s for my husband and 18 year old stepson who are both overseas. They re being processed at two different service centers. One has a longer processing time than the other. What if they get approved 3 months apart? Will the first one have to wait until the second one catches up or could they potentially go through NVC/consular process separately? I ve heard of these getting joined together at NVC but how does that happen?
