US Immigration from Colombia

It s been over 2 years now, and finally we are DQ d by NVC. The wait time for an interview in Colombia is less than 3 weeks according to the website. We were approved to advance to this stage on 16 Nov 2022. How long based on this information should it take for NVC to request the interview and send me the documentation. Also, is it possible to get the visa stamp on the same day of the interview or will my wife s passport need to be sent to the USA and then returned to her. Is it hoping too much to think that when I go there for christmas this year that she will be able to return with me?

On October 25, 2022 my wife had her interview at the Bogota Embassy. Unfortunately, after the interview my wife was issued a 221g yellow form due to the fact that the original divorce decree was not submitted. On October 26th I overnighted the documents, and on November the 8th I received a confirmation via email that the documents were received and being forwarded to the proper department.

My question is does anyone know the time frame that the Bogota embassy takes to process a 221g when documents have been submitted? I know the typical answer says it can take up to 60 days.

Hello, the NVC finally approve all the documents for my wife and we are waiting for the interview at the American embassy in Colombia, Bogota, what documents she needs to bring to the interview? will I get list when they give me appointment date?

Buenas, estoy ahora en Bogot con mi madre la cual estoy pidiendo. Ya hizo huellas y tuvo cita donde el m dico. La cita de ella es 11/18/22. Tengo una inquietud: el certificado de nacimiento de mi madre necesita estar apostillado? Quien me pueda guiar en esto, solo me queda el d a de ma ana para gestionar esa parte.

I received a RFE notice from USCIS requesting more information, I applied September 1 of 2021. Why would they wait 14 months to request more info.

I mailed my application. That was probably a mistake. I wonder if they lost my documents? I had sent most of the additional info that they requested. I failed to file I 130A

On their page to submit documents you can only submit 5 different items. The form I 130 A is 7 pages. So how do I get around that?
