Hello everyone,

Is the CEAC Visa Status page not working for anyone else?

We had our interview on Monday and were approved but waiting on receiving our passport back. I have been trying to check the CEAC Visa Status page since then (now 4 days) and while I can get the page to load, when I put in our case number and the CAPTCHA, it never shows me the status. I never had this problem previously. Is this happening for everyone?

I ve tried several attempts at an expedite because of my son and his health, wanting him to receive care in the US instead, and because of the state departments warning for American s not to be in Colombia. I ve contacted my congressman who never responded back. I m thinking of trying again for another expedite but include my essential worker , as well as my mothers battle with cancer in it.

Is there any logic as to who gets approved for an expedite? I ve read people getting approved for an expedite for lesser reasons. Trying to figure out what I can do since Bogota seems to have no interest in taking more cases from the NVC.

My wifes Advance Parole document came in the mail in the middle of Jaunary a few months after we applied. We sent our 12 year old sons application at the same time and we are still waiting? Crazy part is says it can take up to 2 years not sure what good that does as my wifes document is only good for one year and the system wont let me do an inquiry as it says its not pas processing times.

I thought these advance parole only took 2-3 months to process, any ideas on what to do from anyoone?

This is my first post. I just filed my wife's spousal visa request on Sunday, April 18, 2021 online, I did not use a service or attorney, I live in California ,my wife lives in Colombia, a few questions,

What is the difference between a CR1 and the I-130?

Now that I filed online im a little lost, there were items that I wanted to include like pictures and tax returns etc that were not requested.

Please give me some tips and advice on what to do next, what comes next and when and what are the timelines ?
