Good day everyone,

we received the letter:

REQUEST FOR PETITIONER TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW

Case Type(s)
FORM I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Process started - 03/26/2024 - Appt 04/17/26

I'm going over again what is needed, but since the first interview went so smooth, I'm thinking the same for this one,

--Should we upload all documents (bills, mtg, insurance, banks statements, taxes) before the interview? pictures?

or just bring them that day?

What main questions do they ask?

Thanks everyone

Definition of a Child under the CCA

Hello
I have a disabled adult child and after some research I am thinking I may be able to apply for an N-600 for him since he has had this disability since birth and as of yet not 21. I have been querying AI and it's informed me that it's possible but I cannot find the concrete verbiage in the policy manual or US code in reference to "...permits an individual who is age 18 or older to be considered a 'child' if he or she has a developmental or physical disability or mental impairment." I am in infant stages of my research but I am hopeful someone smarter than me can point me in the right direction.

TIA

Travelling with US citizen friend

My girl friend is applying again for a tourist visa in Colombia, our plan is that I'm going there to get plastic surgery and she's travelling to US with me to stay for a week.

Do you recommend that she adds me as her travel companion on the DS-160 and saying that's the purpose of her travel? Helping me on the trip and visiting for a week?

She was denied a couple months ago under section 214(B). She said she was staying with me but we didn't add that we were travelling together or my surgery, do you think this would help her case or could it look bad that she's not only staying a here but travelling with me?

I might travel with my kids (6 and 8yo), would it be a stronger case to say she's helping me because I had surgery and travelling with the kids? In that case, should I add them as travelling companions as well?

TIA!
