Hi all. I am currently waiting for approval for my I-751 submission. If I serve in the U.S. military part-time, will I be awarded U.S.citizenship after a year of service OR will I become eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship? Thanks! I received my conditional green card in 2018. My U.S. citizen husband divorced me in 2020. We do not have children and we had a very ugly divorce. In this case, would me serving in the military actually hurt my I-751? Thanks!

| How do you deal with these massive packages due to paper clips? |

As you can see in the pics below, I'm running into this issue with my package. The package (not yet complete) is already like 5 inches thick on one corner and way uneven due to paperclips. My package, when completed, is going to have 47 items, not including the form itself. That's a lot of paperclips, especially since some of the items have a ton of sub-items (e.g. quarterly records from bank accounts, brokerage accounts, credit cards, etc.). My potential solution would be to remove any of the paper-clips between the sub-items. That is, all of the quarterly statements for one joint brokerage account would be held together by a binder clip instead of a bunch of paper clips separating each monthly statement and then all held together by a binder clip. Would that work to combine monthly statements with a big binder clip? Anyone else run into this issue? How'd you solve it?

Hi all. My I-751 was received on December 16, 2020. However, until today, I still have not received a biometrics appointment notice yet. I did receive my receipt though. Should I contact U.S.C.I.S.? Thank you!

Hey there, so now that we're filing an i-751, I'm curious if I have to submit an original notarized translation of our marriage certificate from China? We had to submit that back when we did the CR-1 application, but I don't know if I have to do that again? I only have one original copy left so would like to avoid sending it in if possible. I assume I might need it for N-400? Would it be fine to send in a copy of the notarized marriage certificate translation? Anyone done this?
