US Immigration from China

Hi, I'm wondering if I can file I-130 online and mail the I-485 for the concurrent filing. Is there any benefits to file I-130 online then paper mail? Thank you very much.

After a long, long wait, my fianc finally has her interview scheduled in China.

Regarding my proof of bank account deposits- I have my paycheck deposited into 3 different accounts. On one of my accounts, my mother is listed as the secondary. She never has even touched the account, never deposited money. I had her added years ago for account safety. Is that going to be a problem when it is presented to the consulate?

I asked my bank, Bank of America, about removing her. They told me that even if I did that, the statement they give me will still show her name.

Hi, I'm currently on F1 visa and ready to file AOS.

My concern is that I have filed a tax return wrong under resident status when I should have filed as a nonresident alien. I did send an amended tax return to IRS to correct them but haven't got anything back.

Will this be an issue, or does anyone had a similar experience? Thanks in advance!

I have a couple of asset and income issues to resolve. My wife and I own a house together in her country. I realize that I can't own property in China but my name and passport number are on the house documents.

1. Do we claim it as joint ownership and if so how do we do it. We claimed it as joint ownership in the I-130 application as evidence of co-mingling of finances. I presented translated documents of the house and my financial contribution to the property. I don't think I should change the claim mid-stream.

2. To show joint assets do I need to file a I-864 on her too?

3. She has a small income and I contribute a monthly amount to that to keep her from having to work all kinds of hours and 7 days a week. We do the transference of that monthly support through monthly bank transfers. On the I-864 can we report that as income? Do we need to separate out the 2 streams of income and how? (We can back it up with bank statements.)

4. She has some savings that until now she kept in cash. She recently put it into the bank so that we could show that she had some money. If we show it as assets would that be frowned on since it is essentially a new account and does not show and long term saving of money. I know in financing of homes in America, lending institutions would frown on this kind of evidence.

I entered the US through k1 visa and I am planning to apply for AOS and EAD at the same time. I had a SSN when I was on F1 status two years ago, and I applied for a replacement card after entering the US this year. However, the replacement is flagged and pending. I called SSA office and they said they couldn't do anything and the only thing we could do is wait. I have prepared all the docs for AOS and EAD application. Since my SSN should not change, can I file the applications without a physical SSN card? Thank you for your help!!
