As expected, here s the new travel ban:

Quote

President Joe Biden will sign a travel ban Monday on most non-U.S. citizens entering the country who were recently in South Africa, where a new strain of Covid-19 has been identified, a person familiar with the situation told CNBC.

Biden will also reinstate travel restrictions on the entry of non-U.S. citizens from the U.K. and Brazil, where new Covid strains have emerged. The restrictions will also apply to Ireland and much of Europe. Former President Donald Trump had rescinded the restrictions just before Biden took office.

US Citizen spouses not allowed to attend immigrants' GC/Naturalization interviews?

I went to our assigned USCIS Applicant Service Center for my wife's biometrics appointment earlier today, and I wasn't allowed in which is what I expected. However, I also noticed that some people who were attending their naturalization interviews weren't allowed to bring in their spouses...

Now, I didn't see anyone who went in for a GC interview based on a K1 or IR1 visa, but due to the COVID pandemic, are ASCs not allowing spouses in for these interviews as well? That would seem very odd, as I would imagine the appointment letter would include both due to the nature of these visas...

WAS MY REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE DELIVERED?

Hello there, I would really appreciate some guidance here. How do I speak with a real person at USCIS? My I751 was mailed on Oct 30th, 2019, in LA. I moved from LA to Nashville and notified USCIS of my move, which also transferred my case to a new Service Center. I recently received a letter asking for evidence to support my form (which I sent with the original petition but am assuming they didn't transfer it with my case?). Anyways, I sent all the proof of marriage again to a field office in Kansas City, BUT I did so through USPS.

It got delayed and they then tried to deliver on a Saturday, which means it then sat at the post office because they couldn't deliver it. It showed as: "package available for pickup." I opened a claim and requested a redelivery. I got an email today at 11:05 asking for a confirmation of delivery address, and then THREE MINUTES later my tracking number said :"11:08 delivered at front dest/mail area/ or receptionist".

Should I trust that? Is there a way I can confirm with someone at USCIS it was in fact delivered? Anyone gone through a similar experience? I would love to talk to a representative but tried calling 5 times now and the automated voice won't put me through to speak to an agent.

I-944 Household Question: Should I list my parents who send me money from my home country?

I'm doing a marriage-based AOS (husband is USC). I was previously on an F-1 visa and I'm still in college. I've already submitted the I-130/I-485 packet and got an RFE for I-944, which I'm working on now.

My parents support me with over 50% of my personal "income" as I'm a student, but they live in my home country and ARE NOT planning to immigrate to the US. Should I include them in my household or should I just list their support as "additional income"?

If all the transfers to my bank account have been made by my father, but technically the support is coming from both of my parents (they're still married), should I just include my father of both of them in my household? If we consider the support is coming from both, they would each contribute less than 50% of my expenses since I do have a job and an income.

Also, if we include my husband's income as "my financial support", my parental support would also be less than 50%.

--

Here's what the I-944 instructions say (but it just seems weird considering my parents are in a different country):

1 Your Household:

F. [include] Any individual who provides to you at least 50 percent of your financial support, or who lists you as a dependent on his or her federal income tax return

--

Thank you so much!
