US Immigration from Brazil

As the title states. I need to file my taxes jointly with her and since we "applied for a SSN" with the i-797, she is technically "eligible" for a SSN and thus can't get an ITIN for tax filing purposes. It's going to be a real PITA given the glacial pace USCIS is moving with these forms however and we may need the SSN sooner than they will provide it.

Any way to maneuver around this?

Does immigration ask for proof of income/health insurance/support after you've already submitted your AOS (i.e. the I-944 asking for income details) at any other point (ROC, naturalization, etc.)?

Is the rapid antigen test being accepted to board to the US? Just saw this option at the pharmacy and, besides being faster, is also much more affordable than the lab ones. Just wondering if the airlines are accepting.. Did you guys already presented this one during this week to board to the US?

Hello, I was wondering of anyone has experienced this or can provide guidance. Should I resend the application with a fresh check?

I had submitted my form I129F for k1 visa December 3rd 2020. I see from mail tracking that it was massively delayed and what should have took 2 two took better part of the month and didn't arrive until December 23rd.

Fast forward to today and I still haven't received a receipt or case number or anything.

I tried calling but could not get passed the automated operator without a receipt/case number. Live chat agent directs me to call. I was able to get someone on the live chat at one point - they could not find my application on their system and my check has not been cashed.

They advised me to email the lockbox (where it was sent) email box. I have been emailing daily for a week and have not received a response.

Anyone experience this? Should I continue waiting or re-send my application with a new check? Will that potentially cause problems? Thanks!

Hey everyone!

My husband (gc holder) did not receive any of the corona virus stimulus checks that were previously passed out. We did file our 2019 taxes as married and my question is, did I miss a sign up or something with the IRS? Or is this something that we will get when we file our 2020 taxes?

A little lost here! Please be kind...I am new with all this stuff! Just asking for a little guidance!
