Can an EB2 NIW application be done by an attorney and the adjustment of status be done separately?

My brother decided that he wants to apply for the EB2 NIW. He is already here in a tourist visa. He is planning to work with a lawyer to submit the form I-140 and it all the needed documentation for the application. I told him I could help to fill the forms I-485 and I-765. He will talk to his attorney about this possibility. My question is: That would be possible to submit the adjustment status process separated from the I-140 and not done by the lawyer? Or if he sends application done by a lawyer he can't submit the other applications done by someone else?

Hi everybody, we submitted the I-130 online and will be doing concurrent filing with the other forms by mail. As I was filling out I-864, I noticed there is a spot for the USCIS Online Account Number for the primary immigrant and then later down the form there's a spot for "Sponsor's USCIS Online Account Number".

I did get my Online account number since I filed the I-130 online, but wondering if that number is just for myself and tied to my name or if it relates to both my wife and I that I'm filing for?

Just wondering if I should put the account number down for both of us or just myself?

LISTED AS SINLGE IN HIS TAX RETURNS - IS THAT A PROBLEM FOR THE IR-1 INTERVIEW?

Hello!

My husband went to make his taxes for 2021, because I will need it to show to the consular officer. He got it done, but he is listed as "single". He told me that they weren't able to file for him as married because I don't have a SS number. So, don't have my name on it. Is that correct? Is it acceptable for immigration purposes if he's listed as single? Sorry I don't understand anything about tax returns etc.

Our interview date is coming and I don't know if it is correct. If it's not, he will need to do it again as soon as possible! Please help! Thank you!

Hello everyone,

My husband made plans to come to Brazil for our interview. He has our original marriage certificate. Everything was fine, he was planning to come here with it. We figured out that he needs to be fully vaccinated to enter the country, but he isn't. Which means that he won't be able to come, and we are running out of time for him to send our marriage certificate by mail. (we figured this out yesterday, and we need the document to be here until this friday). My question is: In case the document is not here in time, is it better to go to the interview without it? Just with the photocopy, and explain what happened to the consular officer? OR is it better to reschedule the interview?

Second question: If we reschedule, what happens next? Do we stay waiting one more time without knowing when it is going to be?

Can we receive our visa approval and just send them the original document when it gets here?
