I submitted my N400 application online on January 29, 2021 ( local office is Seattle). Still waiting for biometric appointment letter. I contacted USCIS via email and phone. I was told they added my name to the system for scheduling a biometric appointment in local USCIS office. I ll have to wait until my turn comes. Did not provide any additional information regarding timeline. Has anyone recently received biometric appointment ( not reuse) in Seattle area? I am trying to get an idea about the biometric appointment timeline here in Seattle. I urgently need to plan for an overseas travel. But don t want to miss the biometric appointment either ( incase they schedule the appointment while I am overseas). Any information regarding biometric appointment will be really helpful. Thanks

Hi there, my wife filed an petition for me last march. We received the NOTICE OF ACTION (Form I-797C) in march, which stated that they received the form and its processing. Later on within a week we received another letter which stated some login credentials for USCIS account and told us to activate the USCIS account. As required, we activated the account. Now I would like to know what's the next step? Its been a couple of months and still we didn't received any update. Please note the priority date is 17th March 2021 and the petitioner is a US citizen and visa type is CR1.

I'm encountering a problem in my ceac account. On the AOS section, whenever I click on 'NOT SUBMITTED', it redirects me to the civil documents page. Even when I'm trying to click on 'AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT & FINANCIAL EVIDENCE', nothing happens, it goes nowhere, remains on the same civil documents page. Has anyone run into the same problem?

Hi there,

I am preparing to bring my parents over and I understand that I am to provide a birth certificate and its translation.

My question is, can I use my existing translation (translated about 4+ years ago and notarized) or do I need to create a new one all over again? Does it matter?
