N400 biometric Seattle

Hello

I submitted my N400 application online on January 29, 2021 ( local office is Seattle).  Still waiting for biometric appointment letter. I contacted USCIS via email and phone. I was told they added my name to the system for scheduling a biometric appointment in local USCIS office. I’ll have to wait until my turn comes. Did not provide any additional information regarding timeline. Has anyone recently received biometric appointment ( not reuse) in Seattle area? I am trying to get an idea about the biometric appointment timeline here in Seattle. I urgently need to plan for an overseas travel. But don’t want to miss the biometric appointment either ( incase they schedule the appointment while I am overseas). Any information regarding biometric appointment will be really helpful. Thanks

My friend submitted an application on November 1st, 2020. And she is still waiting for her biometric appointment invitation.

Biometrics appointments started to resume since June. I waited from Jan 2021 till June and got an appointment. I knew many applicants as well got their appointments recently.

you will hear good news soon.

One more question- does  your friend live south or north of Seattle? Just trying to see if they are scheduling biometric for Seattle based November Applications or Portland based. Thanks for your update. It’s really helpful.

Her fingerprint appointment is scheduled for August 17th at the Seattle office.

She is living in downtown Seattle.

I think now everything should start to move faster because there are not covid-19 limitations anymore.
And it is interesting, that her letter says that now we can have cellphones with us, it is only should be turned off.
