US Immigration from Bangladesh

Hello all,

We have our green card interview on 12/3. I will be the main sponsor (petitioner) but do not have 3 years of taxes since I was not required to file in 2018. I have the transcript from the IRS showing no record was found for 2018. Will this be okay?

We applied for our AOS in January of 2020. My sister was a joint sponsor because we didn t make enough. We finally got our interview date for December 3rd, and in these 2 years each of us make enough to be the sole sponsor.

Can I bring new I-864 and sponsor documents to be the new sponsor or will they go off of what was sent with the AOS documents?

My sister petitioned for me at August 2011 and received acknowledgment. currently I have been living in Bangladesh and got married 4 years back. We have a baby as well.

Can anyone please tell me

• How long do I have to wait? Do I have to do anything to make the process faster?
• Would I be able to add my wife and baby with this petition or I have to make another application separately?

Interview Experience
First counter, they took marriage certificate (nikahnama), birth certificate, police verification and passport.
Second counter, the officer returned everything, but passport along with a green paper.
Interview Question:
1. Is it arranged or love marriage?
Officer: All you papers are good, congratulation, expect your passport back within two weeks.
Passport has been ready for pickup the following day.

My mother petitioned for my father and his interview date at the consulate in Bangladesh was on May 9 of 2020, a week before the country went into lock down. He couldn't attend the interview as he was from the vulnerable age group and the uncertainty of the whole situation when this all started really scared everyone off. He was asked August of 2020 to provide the updated police clearance certificate but he was unable to as the country was in a complete lockdown and it was virtually impossible to get a PCC at that time. So he received a letter two weeks ago stating that his visa application has been cancelled due to no contact from his end. I have emailed and explained the obvious that the country was in lockdown and free movement was not possible. He has acquired the required documents and is ready for the interview. What are the chances that his application will be re-instated? He has waited 4 years now to see my mom already and this is really heartbreaking.
