US Immigration from Bangladesh

My mother petitioned for my father and his interview date at the consulate in Bangladesh was on May 9 of 2020, a week before the country went into lock down. He couldn't attend the interview as he was from the vulnerable age group and the uncertainty of the whole situation when this all started really scared everyone off. He was asked August of 2020 to provide the updated police clearance certificate but he was unable to as the country was in a complete lockdown and it was virtually impossible to get a PCC at that time. So he received a letter two weeks ago stating that his visa application has been cancelled due to no contact from his end. I have emailed and explained the obvious that the country was in lockdown and free movement was not possible. He has acquired the required documents and is ready for the interview. What are the chances that his application will be re-instated? He has waited 4 years now to see my mom already and this is really heartbreaking.

After almost two years (600 days to be exact) we FINALLY got a notice that our AOS interview was scheduled!!!! We live in Seattle so this was expected. However, our 2 year anniversary is on December 7th. We waited this long, we don t want our interview to be on December 3 or 4 and then have to do the ROC. If the interview is before December 7, should we ask to reschedule? We have no idea how long we d have to wait for a new date in Seattle.

I submitted my tax return for the most recent year as tax transcript was not available at the time. My income for the most recent year was above the povertly line. I did not submit for previous 2 years as I was not earning during those 2 years. I also submitted W-2 form. IT seems they have accepted my documents but they still messaged me in CEAC where it stated "submit petitioner's Evidence of Income ". Not sure what else i should submit. SHould I submit my recent tax transcript ( it is available now) and perhaps my contract from my employer (where it shows my annual gross income for this year )? Any feedback would be appreciated

My wife is planning to apply for her parents. She has recently received certificate of naturalization. Does she need to wait certain times before she can apply. How long typically does it take to conplete the process. Thanks
