Hi there, how are you all!?

Hope you can help us with this new journey we are starting.

Situation:

My Spouse: 23 years old US Citizen living in Argentina since 2003.

Me: 31 years old Argentinian (and italian) Citizen.

We live together since May 2017.

Delfina and I were married last May 14th, and we are willing to start the process to move to US in a couple of years.

There are some questions that are coming up to start everything, could you please help us?

1- We were told that it is mandatory to do the process with the US citizen living in US, showing income to sponsor me for about a year. Is this true? we have to be separated in order to apply for the Visa?

2- She has family over the US, mainly in Connecticut and Florida, it is recommended to use one of their addresses during this process?

3- Can someone of their family fully sponsor me during this procees?

We would like to be together during the process, can it be?

Thanks all for yor answers, I'm sorry if there are gramatical errors, English isn't my native languaje!

C U!

Evidence of Support

I just recently learned of the requirement of supporting documents for my fiance's K-1 interview with the embassy. We haven't even gotten notice from the embassy to set up his interview yet, but we want to get things together as quickly as possible. I am most concerned with the I-134 and have the following questions:

1. It lists tax returns as necessary only if you are self-employed, which I am not. I am hesitant to attach last year's since I was living abroad and made next to nothing in the months that I was actually in the U.S., so it will look like I am below the poverty line for that year. I did make an income while living in Spain, but have nothing to show for it. I read somewhere to attach tax documents from the past 3 years, but I was a college student in 2016 and 2017 and made very little money. Last year, as I said above, was spent abroad and my income is not reflected on my tax return. Will this hurt me?

2. My bank account balance now and throughout the year are not exactly high...I have a solid income now (more than $50,000 before taxes) and have had for the past year, but I am by no means rich and have less than $1000 in my checking at almost all times after I pay my bills. What exactly are they looking for when they look at the ebb and flow of my bank account?

Hello all -
My fiance's visa has been approved but we are still waiting for an interview appointment. I know that he will not be able to work for at least 3 months once he is allowed to enter the country, but he will need a car to get around while I am at work. My questions are: how long can he drive legally with an Argentinian driver's license? Can he borrow my car without being on the insurance policy? Can I add to my insurance policy in order to drive my car before we are married? For reference, I live in Virginia.

PLEASE help. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I filed my documents for ROC already in November, no updates after biometrics, with the original petition, I was 2 months pregnant and sent an ultrasound. Now our baby was born and I'm wondering if it's possible and good to send in the birth certificate to USCIS? If so, how do you send it to USCIS? Case is in Vermont processing center.

Hello, yesterday i was informed my citizenship was granted but i still don t have a date for the ceremony.

My GC expires 08/08 and i have an infopass appointment for the 22nd of this month.

I was told that even if my GC expires before i have the ceremony I won t become illegal. Is that information correct?

I don t want to have the infopass to be told few days later when my ceremony will be, specially because i can t afford taking so many days off at work.

Do any of you what happens if my green card expires and i don t get the infopass?
