US Immigration from Algeria

Hello everyone,

I applied for a K-1 visa for my fianc back in December 2020. After that we got married in March 2021 and submitted I-130 petition on July 2021. Today I got an email from the embassy telling me that they are in receipt of my K-1 case with further details on how to proceed.

The problem is that even the I-130 petition had been accepted by NVC and only waiting for an interview to be scheduled.

I am wondering what to do?

I already filed for spouse visa for my wife in June, and since I don't have health insurance now I tried with market place and found that I am eligible for 400 bucks a month, I wanted to get UT, but I am afraid that can affect my wife's visa process since they may consider me as a burden and won't accept me as a sponsor to her,

Do you think my worries are ligit? Or this is not going to affect her visa?

My fianc is from Algeria and I m the US citizen. We met in person for the first time in January of this year. (50 days together.) We started the K-1 process in March.

We are wanting to take a vacation together in Tunisia at one of the All-inclusive hotels in Sousse. My only concern is that we might run into problems with the hotel because we are not married and my fianc is from North Africa. One of the hotels I was considering was the Movenpick but then I read a review that an unmarried couple was asked to show their marriage certificate.

I would like to be able to use the hotel as evidence for the immigration process so having both our names on the hotel information would be important.

For people with experience staying at or have knowledge regarding these hotels, do you see us running into problems regarding this?

Greetings all We just want to get a sense of folks experience. My fiance's k1 Visa was approved on June 5th. The embassy said it would take about 5 days to process the visa and then he could pick it up from their processing center. It is still not ready and CEAC shows that the application is ready for interview but hasn't been updated since the interview to show that the interview has happened and that the visa has been issued. I've heard all kinds of crazy stories about the time it can take. Would love to hear from others about how much time it takes. Thank you!

(I am permanent resident waiting for appointment for citizenship. And I am applying for my wife)

I submitted the i130 form on June 6th and until today I only get "your case is being actively reviewd" , how can I know if they accepted my application or no?

And what's the next step? (Because I only did this I130 form, is there any other forms that need to be done?)
