Hey guys,

I got an email response again from USCIS stating:

"We apologize that your case status did not appear on Case Status Online. We have requested to have this system updated. Please allow 3-5 days for this system to be updated.

Our computer systems show that your petition/application is still pending United States Citizenship and Immigration Services consideration.

Thank you,"

So I hope this will finally make my case available online.... good luck to rest of you guys trying to get your case on the website... my suggestion send an email to VSC directly and see if that works... it worked for other people... hopefully with mine it will... I'll post it here if it does...

Regards....

our case seemed stalled at NVC. It went so fast from NOA1 to NOA2, now it's just sitting at NVC and they won't tell us anything. There's no toll-free number to call NVC and no place to check status online after it goes to NVC, like there was at USCIS. When I call they just said it's "being held for further processing", but nothing else. Anyone have similar problem?

Event Date

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Naples, Italy

I-129F Sent : 2009-05-18

I-129F NOA1 : 2009-05-21

I-129F NOA2 : 2009-09-01

NVC Received : 2009-09-04

NVC Left : 2009-10-02

Consulate Received : 2009-10-05

Packet 3 Received : 2009-10-07

Interview ... WAIVED? Never heard of this, but they didn't even interview him, just told him pick up his visa the next day.

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

I think your case is at what they call "AP" (additional processing). I don't know how they judge which ones go through AP. It apparently can take from 3 days to 35 days...I just hope that mine takes 3 days........I'll have to check Monday.

Hey Jasmin&Travis,

Please use this email VSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov and here is a copy of the email I sent:

"Department of Homeland Security

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services

Vermont Service Center

Attn: I-129F,

Case Information:

Case Number: EACXXXXXXXXXX

Notice Date: 05/06/2009

USC:

Fiancée:

First of all, I hope you are doing great. My name . I submitted an application for my fiancée, , which was processed on the date shown above. Since, early June, I called the USCIS customer service helpline in order to enquire about a reason why the case I filled was not on the public website. I was told on that occasion that the issue would be resolved in a couple of weeks, due to the fact that the USCIS officer sent a request to the “Help desk” for my case to be added. After not having the issue resolved, I called in July and August with the same result. As of today, September 9th, 2009, the case I filled is still not available on the website. Following USCIS procedure, I have written this email, per suggestion from the customer service representative on my latest call to USCIS helpline in early September. I would like to respectfully ask if there is any particular issue with my case being that the approximate estimated processing time for these type of applications is five (5) months, and my case is very close to that amount of days, and I still do not have access to my case on the website or any other information about the status of my case. Thanking you in advance for your time and assistance.

Regards,"

I hope this helps, it did for me... at least to get it on the website, something I had been trying forever!!! good luck!

Thank you! how did you find that out?? is it something like a random audit? where do you check status when your case is at NVC? they don't have a place online like USCIS does, where you can just type in your case number, and you can't call them without paying long distance, then they tell you nothing anyway. And my e-mails are returned by an automatic response system, telling me I don't supply the required information, even though I did.

Tina,

I am guilty of talking to much in person, written, smoke signals, morse code, or any other form of communication known to men  ... however, I try to be as explicit as I can because when you leave info out, the agent sometimes reads between the lines and do not answer your question, like it happened on the previous email by the same officer... go figure... and hopefully :innocent: I'll share the same experience as sweetgurl in terms of getting the NOA2 soon...
