OMG Byron - you must be so excited that Leidy and David are arriving in just 2 more days!!!!! I am so happy for you guys!!!

Griff and I are soon to be reunited too!! His interview was this morning and he was approved!!! He'll fly over on Jan. 31st!!! I can't believe we actually made it through!

Congrats on the visa!!!! SO EXCITING!!! Can you believe it?

Any insight to his interview would be great since Darren's interview will be in England as well (some day). Thanks.

Thanks Steph! I am still in disbelief and total relief!!! Griff's interview was ridiculously simple! He was asked the following questions:

  1. Where did you meet?
  2. When did you meet?
  3. Why will you live in the US rather than the UK?
That's it! I hope you get your NOA2 soon! For God's sake, how long does it take to look at a one-page Decree Absolute??? :blink:

Wow-that IS simple! That is a relief. So, how long do you estimate it took for the interview once you got the NOA2?

Yeah, this waiting is ridiculous. The only thing I can think of is they are waiting for my name/security check. Either that or it is just sitting on someone's desk. :wacko:

Hey Steph, that's what I think too...name checks and stuff...but I wonder why I had so many touches for 5 days in a row on december....I really hope is an approval for us coming.....enough is enough....

We only had about 5 weeks from NOA2 to interview, which is not the norm. Not sure why we got so lucky, but am happy we did! If you look in the UK forum you will an find a 2008 UK interview thread which lists upcoming interviews so you can find out what the timeframe is like.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

All of the September approvals are getting really annoying. It seems like the first 2 weeks in September should be finished soon.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood
