I sent in I - 485 and I - 765 with only 2 total passport photos. I should have sent in 2 with each for a total of 4.

Anyone else make the same error?

Will I have to reapply for the I - 765 ?

I did the same thing, and so did many others. Don't worry it will probably make no difference. No one said anything to me about it and I was approved fine, same with the others. You are in a LOT of good company, don't sweat it! You can have 2 more photos ready just in case they want more, though.

I could never figure out why they has for passport pictures, the picture they used for Claudeth's EAD and GC was from the biometrics  Maybe they are in kahoots with the photo industry :P

Yep the passports photos we send in are just used for our file, I guess. I guess electronically stored digital photos are easier to use for the cards.

Maybe to make sure that the person who shows up for the biometrics appointment is the same as the person who filed. My guess, though, would be that it's an archaic requirement from when they would have used those pictures on the actual EAD or GC, and they haven't bothered to get rid of it.
