Hello Everyone,

Good day! :-) We are happy to hear some of the good news being shared from fellow VJ members. We also observed that there are some June filers who already have the appointment date for medical and the interview. We have this positive feeling that ours will be soon also.

We just have one quick question, please. :-) Those who had tried calling NVC and were able to talk to one of the NVC staff, what is the best time you can recommend to call NVC? We don't know yet if our case is already received by NVC from CSC.

We would really appreciate your input.

Thanks & regards,

Scott&Sha

The best time is right when they open and 10-15 minutes before they close. I was advised to call at these times, but I tried once in the middle of the day and it was a nightmare... especially since the system will disconnect you if you're on hold too long.

FYI: when you call you want to talk to someone (603-334-0700, 1, 5). If you follow the automated system you will not get anything because K1's are not entered into the automated system.

Good luck!!!

I've had luck calling at various times of day. It all depends on how persistent you plan on being.

But 5 minutes before closing - like said above- I've had luck getting through.

Also, I hear they say call between 6:30pm - 6:45pm EST to get through easy ... but I've never tried it.

Times I've gotten through -

2-3PM afternoon ( called a MILLION times. Once you get into the hold system, it says "3 minutes" ... and it usually IS. )

Just do the 1-5 option, like mentioned. Wasting time entering your numbers will only make your fingers hurt.

The moral of my story: Stick with someone who matches your own culture.

( This coming from an Arab who married an Arab from overseas... go figure. )

Thank you KyanWan...:-)

Hmm, I'm just wondering, is it possible at all to be able get through the line if the call is made abroad?

Will they entertain calls made by the beneficiary or they will just entertain calls made by the petitioner?

:-)
