I think they dont have time for that...I think it would have to be someones hobby to read all this...I think they have different hobbies after work and I dont think someone pays them to read here. Also I think I read somewhere that their supervisor is interested in the amount of petitions they approve in a certain period of time so I think that´s what they do all day...

I do think they do read forum on this site. It may not be workers but perhaps the supervisors or the management. I think this site is a form of a feedback to them...as for me as a supervisor/manager; I look for those type of things to improve the quality of my work center. So I do think they monitor this website.

SURE they do, ever hear of Patriot Act, wiretapping, etc, they monitor everything more than anyone realizes and do not ever think they do not.

I think it's almost a certainty that at least some USCIS employees drop in. Which is why I cringe every time I read a post about "lazy/incompetent/uncaring/stupid USCIS workers," despite the fact that the poster has absolutely no information to back those accusations up.

Fortunately I believe most members of the VJ community, while frustrated, handle themselves pretty well. So if they're out there reading (and they most certainly are) I think they probably share our frustrations and hope they can help us to be re-united with our loved ones as soon as humanly possible.

I don't think they do....Remember what the ex-adujidicator from Texas said.....We have better ways and way you don't even think about to get info from everybody....

Do you really think they have time to look at this....at every thread? I don't know....

the one ex adjucator who posted on here said he never read the site. he equated it to going home and reading more work on his off time.

I'm a guy and the DHS has more important things to do than hang out in websites like this . Besides that the databases we used could glean more information about you than you could/would ever divoulge on VJ! Sorry, I'm not a spy.

maybe some do somewhere but he is a good example of the in the trenches worker.

here is the correct quote from him....

Haven't read through all nine pages yet (but I will), so I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but one of the other questions we've had around here is whether the adjudicators knew about, or checked into, VisaJourney at all..... any comments there, Husker?

Probably not but who knows. At that time I never heard people discussing Visa websites for whatever reason. I never did because i had a life outside of work and when I left every day the last thing I wanted to do was go home and look at more "work" type stuff. To coin an old slogan, "Its not an adventure, its just a job".

Surfing the net wasn't allowed at work either.

The reason I am here and found VJ was through a website for fellows who are engaged in the Russian/Ukrainian bride endeavor. They recommend it, so i looked around and there was a lot of good info here. So, once I filed my petition I thought there's no time like the present to join up. I also thought well maybe I could help shed some light on this enigma called the NSC.

I think it is pretty certain that the adjuntioners don't generally read this website. They are just doing a job and not looking to get anymore involved than they have to... just crank out the work. But that isn't to say there are a few that read/post here out of curiousity or personal intrest in their own free time.

I think it is more likely a higher up, such as a manager or director would take some interest in the forum. As someone else stated, if no other reason to see public acceptance and feedback. But even more likely, they are having someone under them do research on public acceptance/feedback and such and this website pops up.

I would be very surprised if there is anyone from USCIS reading VJ to purposely find those abusing the system or to make decisions on PARTICULAR petitions. I have see some questionable relationships, but in the time I've been here, I can't recall anyone trying to abuse the system and do anything but bring their dear fiance(e) to the US.

I would like to believe that they do, but I would have to agree that the adjudicators would less likely to put anymore of their time into this. They would either have to get pay or be at a Manager level to help improve the quality of their system. But I do hope that they do check us out so they can get an idea of what's going on in "our world."
